Well, the production budget is twice that of Pathfinder, and everyone involved seems very enthusiastic about it stepping out from the shadow of Arnold's two films.

Momoa does not have the musculature of someone who slings a yard of steel around for a living. His arms would be cut like crazy if he was "the guy" and in that picture they are not. Rushing production is a shame as as I stated before, had they given him more time and allowed him to put on some more weight he would be great!

Would he need to be a juiced up wrestler? No - and that was a complete jackass comment from that other guy.

I'll tell you what I think is jackass; not realizing that Momoa has the appropriate musculature of a Conan in his early years ala BWS. Even a good number of the tight***** at conan.com agree with this.

Uh wrong homey - you are missing the meaning of what was said. Even a 17 year old who grew up doing nothing but physical labor and using a sword all of the time would have TIGHT arms and defined muscles.

I agree with the previous post, those pictures of Jason Momoa are far from being tightly defined muscle. You can tell he was not given enough time to work out before the movie was put into production, not his fault but it is the way it is.

Being the right size and right musculature for Conan in his early years which if you look back over this thread you will see even the naysayers of this film saying his muscle size is good for the young Conan so if they are going for that then great (even if he is TOO OLD FOR THAT), however he is not defined enough muscle wise.

What I think is jackass is people lacking simple comprehension skills.

Here is hoping we get something entertaining anyway! This cirector is due for something good finally I think.

Wether he was given enough time or not, my homey, he looks defined enough, and looks big enough to carry and swing a big broad sword.
