Cop killer on the run calls out to celebs

You don't find a body, they ain't dead. First rule of anything.
Then show me the body.

Overheard from authorities on the police radio channel:

"Hold until we start mop up with fire."

"Still not ready for fire. There's a lot of smoldering."

"More ammo going off."

"Fire doing quite well. I'm going to let it go."

To anyone who is actually knowledgeable in forensic science; if the place burns down to the ground, what are the chances they'd still be able to identify him through skeletal remains?
Best way would probably be through dental records if no usable soft tissue remain. Also, could use bone marrow if that's still intact.

If he lives through this and escapes I'd be oddly impressed. Not that I agree with what he's done. But if he's caught, a week from now they'll be a conspiracy video in YouTube

We should start taking bets on how long it will be before the first one appears.

I still stand by the no body thing. They don't find some type of remains, it's not over.

CNN said:
At some point today, a suspect tried to get out the back door of the cabin, but he was pushed back inside, U.S. Marshals Service district chief Kurt Ellingson told CNN's Brian Todd.

We're still waiting for details about the fire at the cabin, which began about an hour ago.

...

I was on the phone.

Did they get him/did he burn?

Firefighters are about to approach the cabin, CNN reports.

Even if they find his teeth (or whatever) how long will it take them to match it? I can't imagine they'll have 100% confirmation until tomorrow sometime, or late tonight at the earliest.

Breaking Bad taught me that teeth do a "popcorn thing" when they get too hot. Is there any truth to that?

The fire only burned for about an hour didn't it? So there may be a lot of stuff left.

CBSLA said:
The cabin quadruple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner is believed to be holed up in is now fully engulfed in flames, according to CBS2′s Carter Evans, who also reported that tear gas was fired into the house before the fire broke out.

A shot was also fired around that time, and sources tell CBS2′s Juan Fernandez that tracks were found leading to a horse corral, which may mean Dorner was able to escape.

Sources tell CBS Dorner might have escaped.

CNN has now stated:

CNN said:
Earlier, we reported that U.S. Marshals Service district chief Kurt Ellingson told us a suspect tried to get out the back door of the cabin at some point today and was pushed back inside. But there are now conflicting reports about whether the suspect ever emerged.

Ellingson says authorities are not sure whether the suspect came out.
