Surely he could not have escaped? There's all sorts of conflicting reports out at the moment.

I really haven't paid too much attention other than this thread and Facebook posts...but if he escaped, damn, he pulled some ninja moves. Dat straight up Bourne nasty. I mean, wasn't the damn cabin surrounded with choppers in the air?

Reports of him escaping were bound to come up between the time the siege ended and the discovery (or non-discovery) of a body. So I'll hold off judgement till an official report is released. But the scary part is that him escaping is very much in the realm of possibility, and idk about you, but I find that concerning.

I was wondering earlier... if they had him as pinned down as they thought, why did the cops tell the news that they were searching for him in the insides of vehicles leaving that area?

I suppose, but I think things like this indicate something about the moral failures of our society.

CNN is now reporting that Dorner is dead:

A body believed to be that of Christopher Dorner has been pulled from the cabin, multiple law enforcement sources tell CNN. The sources say they were told this by LAPD.

I saw people earlier today saying the only reason the cops told the news crew to leave was because they were going to execute the guy and didn't want evidence. In closing, people are dumb.

Look, if there's one thing that Dorner has taught us, it's that he cannot....be...controlled. He breaks through barriers, he expands to new territories, violently, sometimes even dangerously, but, uh, well....there it is.

Because a guy who goes on a shooting rampage against civilians is the same as a soldier in combat.
