It’s amazing the level of stupidity and pseudoscience and superstitious idiot behavior among many in the vaccine hesitant community. And I’m not talking about those with unequal access to healthcare such as minority communities

I completely sympathize with those in minority communities who do not have equal access to healthcare and resources for vaccinations (despite what republicans say); that is a separate thing to tackle.

The issue I take is with the idiots who think they know the science better than the scientists and healthcare workers.

They say they don’t fear covid; fine but at least don’t be a hypocrite by calling yourself American and then not caring at all about other Americans. True Americans care for other Americans fullstop. Dr Strange’s key quote cannot ring any truer, “its not about you!” I find it un-American to not protect and shield those who need it most. Those folks who can easily get vaccinated but are unwilling to do so for a whole host of mind-bending dumb reasons are truly not real citizens to me.

Many of these folks are the same people who say they are pro-life and value life; so then shouldn’t that view apply to all human life? The cherry on top of this turd-cake is that these same wonderfully brilliant folk also wonder why the pandemic won’t end…… cuz, you know they cannot seem to understand basic science that the more times this virus infects others, the greater the probability of new mutations. I cannot for the life of me figure out how their genius scientifically inclined minds cannot understand this

So UK peeps... anyone still gonna be wearing a mask after the 19th or just me? I'm fully vaccinated now, but I still worry about those out there who are vulnerable or unable to have the vaccine.

Appreciate that as of the 19th, it becomes a personal choice but I will still be wearing my mask in shops, busy places etc.

I was more than willing to suck it up for a couple of days for the sake of being protected, but I guess I was fortunate. It has been about 60 hours now so I'm going to assume I'm in the clear.

Seems to be all over the place with how it affects different people. I had initially been warned months ago to expect worse on my second but it was comparatively a non-event. Glad we’re both done now either way.
