I think I came down with something. Might be the flu. Have a fever, chills, and fatigue. I could have sworn it was COVID but I just tested negative. I will do another test tomorrow. I’ve never felt the kind of fatigue I’m currently experiencing with just a regular cold.
don't forget the Scarlet witch.I fully blame seeing Doctor Strange in a packed theater for this.![]()
I'm going through the same - and there are a lot of cases of flu around! Many of my cousins had it and they said that the symptoms lasted for a good week (some of them had fever: 38/39°C).
Sorry to hear that, Mike. Just keep resting and stay hydrated. It worked wonders for me. I'd also recommend as much vitamin C as possible.Well I took a second test this morning and it came back positive. I got the ‘vid![]()

Coffee with oat milk and honey as your first drink of the day
Dunno why, but that for me was downright a COVID elixir. You'll be okay, my dude.
A virus that shows no signs of disappearing, variants that are adept at dodging the body’s defenses, and waves of infections two, maybe three times a year — this may be the future of Covid-19, some scientists now fear.
The central problem is that the coronavirus has become more adept at reinfecting people. Already, those infected with the first Omicron variant are reporting second infections with the newer versions of the variant — BA.2 or BA2.12.1 in the United States, or BA.4 and BA.5 in South Africa.
Those people may go on to have third or fourth infections, even within this year, researchers said in interviews. And some small fraction may have symptoms that persist for months or years, a condition known as long Covid.
“It seems likely to me that that’s going to sort of be a long-term pattern,” said Juliet Pulliam, an epidemiologist at Stellenbosch University in South Africa.

Reminds me of people breaking their paid for PS4 to protest Sony.Literally the only one who loses out when you light up a paid-for $3500 digitally-generated barcode is you, you ****ing dummy.
Seems like that should be a seasonal thing, too, based on case levels. My boss tested positive for COVID too. Looks like my office is riddled with it. Getting rid of the mask mandate in the building was a bad idea.
I'm thinking the relation of covid cases to the seasons are becoming irrelevant. Once the initial wave hit in the beginning, cases went way down in summer 2020 then back up again in the late fall/early winter of 2021, then dropped low again in spring/early summer 2021 right before Delta hit, then Omicron came along in December/January, and now it's spring and there's another wave. Unfortunately I don't think how warm or cold it is matters anymore, which is a shame because up until Delta, we were pretty much led to believe that Covid doesn't fare well in warmer weather.Seems like that should be a seasonal thing, too, based on case levels.
