Last Tuesday, I started feeling a sore throat. Wednesday, went home early and slept for like 2 hours. Friday night tested (home test) and I had Covid again. Tested again on Monday, same. Sore throat persisted until Tuesday. Tested again on Wednesday, negative. Obviously a very different reaction than the first time I got it with the oxygen and hospitalization, this time it was like a bad cold/flu. I have to schedule my next booster.

Don't count on it. I think the majority of folks have [finally] accepted that covid's going to be with us for awhile. You're not gonna see people masking up en masse anytime soon, I'm betting. Some people will, and more power to those who choose to because that's their decision. But people have just accepted that it's with us.

No, COVID is endemic now and we need to accept that. That doesn't mean dismiss it like the flu but we still need to treat it the same way: vaccinate, stay home when sick, wear masks when it is spreading, wash hands and try to stay away from antivaxxers.
