After three years of not getting COVID, I finally tested positive repeatedly and am now isolating in my house after symptoms like runny nose, hoarse voice, sneezing, and aching across my body.

Thought it was a cold, but luck was not on my side.

Rest up @Pennywise! The isolating sucks but you'll be just fine. I had just gotten covid myself for the first time last Fall. The first 24 hours knocked me out but then it became a mild cold for about a week.

Nice to see things are getting better. :) More normal.

Aw, geez. Just when you thought it was safe. :(

Doesn't mean people aren't still dying. :(

I used to have a lot of time for Joe Rogan, however he's so dug in on his stance on vaccines that even when he's been proven wrong, or called out on some of the 'facts' he's spouted regarding them, particularly their potential side effect percentages. He basically either completely ignores it or starts disputing the source of information.

Which he actually did on one of his podcasts when he made some claim about how a particular vaccine raised the chances of a particular age group suffering from some sort of side effect, the guest tells him he's incorrect & that the statistics actually point to the opposite, he gets his guy to Google it on air & what the guest told him was correct. If I could remember the episode number I'd post it.

He's making money on disinformation. He's not going to give that up easily.

It's actually annoying & there will be people that hear those snippets of him saying something & take it as pure gospel.

I've never been confirmed as having it but I have been vaccinated. If I caught it for real it was very light.
