Which US states are closer to peaking and which are furthers away?

I think WA and NY are hitting their peaks. CA is probably close as well. IL and MI are starting to hit the crisis points.

Why is it bats in particular that are a breeding ground for these compared to other animals?

I've read that Bats can stay immune to most corona viruses they carry, how they got that many viruses in them is the question.

I saw someone on twitter put some facial tissue on the top of the bridge of their nose and it apparently prevents the glasses from fogging up.

Old Testament God probably wouldnt be so forgiving.

It might be hard to enforce. The person can carpool or use another car or tag if they need to go shopping or to go to work. Or just walk or ride a bike. Unless local police intend to put a watch on the person's house 24/7.

Couple of weeks ago....a guy tested positive, was told to self quaranteen for 14 days, he said he wouldn't do it, cops set outsie his house for 14 days and wouldn't let him leave.

Gota love my governor (Ky governor Andy Beshear)....on today's talk about the virus....he showed a video made by many different pastors from around the state telling people to stay home for Easter....then he said that there are 7 churches in the state that are saying they will still hold services on Sunday....and he is going to send state police officers to each of those churches, they will take down the license plate numbers of the cars, hand out a written notice to the people as they enter (it tells them they now have to self isolate at home for 14 days) and use the license plate info to send to the area's health departments and sheriff's offices to tell them to make sure they stay at home. He went on to say - to those that think I am singling out churches because I am anti Christian.....I am a deacon at my church, my oldest son was supposed to get baptized this Sunday, and we are missing that, this "not going to church this Sunday" stuff is hurting me as much as you.....but the God I follow wants me to love my fellow man, and doing everything I can to save my fellow man's life is following God's orders.

That talking point about naming the virus the "Chinese Virus" is old drifting through the media outlets to tune in or click on an article full of hot takes and hot air that can cycle all day but it's not going to get rid of the virus nor really add anything new to what's already been talked about everywhere ad nauseum.

That is a precedent set to a new higher level.

In other recent news, the updates concerning the serologic testing being utilized to see anyone who has silently carried the virus but never got tested is another area that I wonder how may play out as well. As things tighten, I can see some work places ordering employees to take it before going back to work. Blood donations will probably be asked for from those who show the necessary antibodies being one of the treatment methods being utilized at the moment too.

Most Pennsylvanians know about the liquor stores (some comparing to prohibition except wine and beer can still be bought at grocers) in Pennsylvania being closed. As face masks come into effect this past week emphasized by the CDC, here's a clip of a guy getting forcibly removed from a bus: Man Without Face Mask Removed From Philadelphia Bus The worst case scenario I see is enforceable lockdowns like we've seen in Italy.

India on the other hand sort of plays around with people going for groceries about a couple weeks back: India’s coronavirus lockdown is bringing out the worst in its police force At this point, they could shoot someone, make hop like a frog, or give a spanking with a stick. The Indian government is also handing out Quarantine despite not testing positive randomly if see you out and about now too and track the citizens location via phone (utilizing GPS tech. described in earlier post) they have to keep on them afterwards. Oddly enough the actual court based consequences are about in line with other countries though with mainly the street based ones that may go pretty far (In the U.S., it would probably go the other way around if came to this with court based litigation being steep moreso than street based justice beyond shooting someone if resist with violence).

At least in most strict lockdown countries the police are more disciplined, here's a doctor getting hit before able to present I.D.:

A lady doctor was dragged by her hair above link says as well and that's like 2 weeks ago (yes, there was 1 shooting in the foot when 1 trucker wouldn't pay out a bribe)... Street based shenanigans moreso rather than just strict justice and a lot of uppityness in India.
