It's not "a bit racist".

Currently the wellspring of the anti-quarantine protests is NOT some grass roots uprising. It's a coordinated and disingenuous attempt by various reactionary forces to prop up Donald Trump and the Republican party. By and large those that fall into that category in the U.S. are in fact... White. That's not a statement that reflects racism... It's a statement of fact. We all like to be cute on the Internet but... Yeah. Stop.

You gotta love america. The government which is run by human beings giving hand outs of our tax dollars is socialism. An individual human being giving hand out of his money is Murican.

I seriously despise this country's stupidity. I greatly appreciate that some of the wealthy are stepping up and doing things to help those less well off than them. But the fact is they shouldnt need to. We pay taxes to the government. It's our ****ing money. And SOBs like Moscow Mitch have the audacity to say "pump the brakes", and refuses to give us our money when we need it most.

Seems like just calling anything socialism is enough to trigger some people even if it actually benefits them.

As much as some folks like to spout they want to live in some libertarian Darwinist civilization the reality is that any sort of large functioning country needs some level of collective co-operation to work.

Report finds 40 percent of recent coronavirus infections in children
Some 855 out of 2,090 new confirmed coronavirus cases from April 19 to 29 are children under the age of 19, Hebrew language website Ynet reports, citing a study published by the Health Ministry’s National Coronavirus Information Center.

According to the study the number of children infected with the novel coronavirus was initially low but has now climbed to 40%. The study also found that 36% of new cases are ages 20-44; 12% are ages 44-59; 5% are ages 60-70; 3% are ages 71 to-80, and the remainder of those infected are over 81.

These guys job is to determine the spread of the virus.

You are seeing from the antibody tests in new york and california that it has spread far more than we thought and the death rate is a lot lower.
