The Dark Knight Could this be the first 3 hour SH movie?

Three hours? I really doubt it. Begins was two hours 20 min. I think TDK should be maybe 10 min longer if needed(taking into account that as begins this one Iam hoping, will have no opening credits which is great with me).If not stick with the same running time as begins but not less.

Three hours would be pushing it. Unless a lot of the villains who've been rumored to appear actually do, and each have their own length of screentime. I wouldn't mind if it was that long, unless there was a specific reason a to why it will be. I'd prefer the same length as Begins. Even though there were people who thought even that was too long. If it's handled well, I think a lot of people including myself would enjoy it. But only if the purpose of the time is actually needed.

Yes it would. Maybe not to us fanboys who love the character to death, but to the average Joe and their kids it would.

i didnt think TDK would be a kids movie, just as BB wasnt a kids movie. i was thinking more along the lines of 13 and older.

Nolan doesn't make movies like Singer or Jackson.

135-145 mins is enough for movie like TDK.

2 1/2 will be enough..But i am hoping for the DVD to have a crap load of extra footage..deleted scenes, behind the scenes, interveiws..ect..

yeah, i agree with you.

as much as I would like to see a 3 hour Dark Knight film....i doubt it will happen. But I wouldn't be surprised if the sequel is a bit longer than Begins. TDK might end up being 2 hrs and 30 mins.
