but the jump from the horse looked like it was on wires. because all the weight si around the hip. i think this could be done with a different angle.

i also dont understand why they are using the digital lens flares. it doesnt allways work with the cinematogrphy of an old western.

The alien ships look pretty awesome. I don't think the jump from the horse looked like wire work, it looked more like the actual shot is going to be in slow motion but they cut away from it pretty quickly.

i think the ships look good. but its obvious that the producers from Paramount are obssesed with the brushed metalic look from Transformers. the metal looks the same.

Well the Super Bowl's over. A team I didn't care about (Packers) beat a team I mildly disliked (Steelers), so...yay?

Anyway, of the five summer tent poles I recall getting ad space (this, Thor, Captain America, Transformers 3 and Super 8) this by far looked the best. It has a fun, zippy looking tone and dare I say...slightly Indiana Jones-ish? The others were pretty average I thought. Thor and Super 8 stood out as possibly good, but I was underwhelmed by the Captain America ad. TF3 looked like Transformers 1...and Transformers 2....and Bad Boys 2 for that matter.

But Cowboys & Aliens? That stood out as cool. Hope it's as good as the trailer and superbowl spot make it out to be.
