The trailer looked great. The Aliens don't stand a chance against 007 and Han.

Another pairing of Indiana Jones and James Bond :D

As for the "wire" I think the aliens use some sort of capture device. It doesn't look like a standard stunt harness

I remember him pairing up with Green Goblin, Two-Face and Qui-Gon, what movie did he pair up with another James Bond?

Now I like how that was cut. Like a 2 minute teaser trailer. Showed just enough.

Sean Connery in The Last Crusade.

lol, freaking duh, only the #1 Bond there's been and a movie I've seen about 50 million times.:doh:

Looks pretty cool. Harrison Ford in Western garb just looks perfect.

I like the fact that they begin this trailer in traditional Western fashion. Nothing too stylized, nothing fancy. Even the mysterious bracelet looks practical and, dare I say, steampunkish.

When the alien lights appear in the night horizon, it feels like channeling "Close Encounters...", which is brilliant.

Also, I appreciate the fact that they didn't show the aliens - wise decision.

Gets a 9/10 from me!

wow...this is what we've come to.....combing over every second and inch of a trailer for mistakes so we have something to b**** about

this is why I drink

It's not so much combing over every second so much as seeing something so blatantly and noticeably out of place as that wire. For a teaser that was so fine-tuned, seeing that is gripe worthy and deserves to be pointed out.

If it's an alien lasso, so be it. In fact, it'd be very fitting considering it's a western. For now, it looks like a stunt wire.

Nope. I've only watched the trailer once, and I spotted it immediately. I mean why put that in a trailer?

Ironically I'm fine with the unfinished CG in the GL trailer.

God, people are being such stupid, ungrateful crybabies in the GL forums...

Wow, so if people don't blindly just accept what they're getting with the GL trailer....then they're crybabies? I've looked at plenty of different forums and people online who have seen the GL trailer and it's just not playing all that well with them(most of these are non-comic fanboy types as well). Some people just can't take criticism I guess.

I haven't read the graphic novel in years, but IIRC, it is an alien lasso that the visitors used.

It was more effective than Green Lantern. (I'm not saying that Green Lantern is doomed because I'm not judging the quality of the actual movie. Nor do I want a war here)

I'm saying that 'Cowboys' had two things that the 'Lantern' trailer didn't have: build up and mystery. But there's always the second trailer. I'm not worried.

Not blind acceptance, it's okay to criticise but everybody seems to ignore the good points which over weigh the bad IMO.

This whole trailer just makes me so, so happy :)

What an epic trailer, i'm pumped for this.

What movie was he in with Liam Neeson?

I like Harrison Ford, but I'm more interested in seeing Craig. Haven't really seen him in anything but Bond.

He was all right in Golden Compass. It'll be weird as hell hearing him do a western accent though.

Daniel Craig just looks like he belongs in a western, though.
