You know people say this every year. They name a bunch of films they think are gonna be good and then less than a year later they complain on what a terrible summer it was. People every year has high hopes of films where it is kinda obvious that they wont be good. That includes several from this list.

Having said that, this looks awesome.

After seeing the poster and now the trailer, I really believe that the role will be better with Craig than it would have been with Downey.

Stacking 2011 and 2012 in preparation for the End of the World. It's either a smart move or a dumb move on the part of the studios. I would guess its more likely the latter.

Yeah nothings really going to happen IMO. This so called End of the world prediction will be just like Y2K or some crap like that.

Really good trailer, not what I had pictured when I first heard about this project. Looks pretty serious and I liked the tone of the trailer.

I agree Daniel Craig does seem to be more suited for this role than Downey probably would've been.

Given the tone I think Craig is better suited to this film, I think having RDJ actually would have made this film look a bit more lighthearted given his recent batch of work, not saying he couldn't take it as serious as Craig, but no-nonsense Craig gives this a definite grounding that I don't think RDJ could have matched, I really wasn't anticipating that. I'm liking what I see so far, definitely a unique concept, one that could go either way.

Funny they were giving the comic away for free on Free Comic book day and i never took a second look at it.Now i want to dig it up and read it.
If a story like this is going to be done right they definitely have the right people making it and starring in it.

Wow, quite a surprising trailer. With a title like Cowboys & Aliens, I was expecting something tongue-in-cheek and spoof-ish, but I like how straightforward and serious this looks. I'll probably check it out in theatres.

And Daniel Craig is, for lack of a better term, ****ing awesome.

Not sure what you mean about Ford. Judging from the little bit I saw, he totally fits and looks like an old west badass.

I am so relieved that this appears to have a serious tone to it. I was wondering if this would go in a more campy, comedic direction. I'm totally pleased.

Ford actually reminds me more of Eastwood in this movie/trailer than he does his usual roles.
