Basically as I understand it, Favs took the premise from the GN and pretty much made his own movie. And I'm fine with that. How many people were really devoted fans of the GN and are gonna end up screaming that they ruined it? All 5 fans it has?

Whatever they did, I'm confident it'll be better than the GN.

This looks very cool, but I think I overestimated the hype. I have a feeling this will be another Kick-Ass or even a Scott Pilgrim type situation. But both of those movies were great, so not my problem.

Not to pick on you, but I can understand thinking 95% of movies Hollywood releases aren't worth watching....but when those 5% you do watch are superhero movies and summer blockbusters, that kind of invalidates the point.

They aren't ALL superhero movies & summer blockbusters. Most are, no doubt..but not all. Hannah wasn't one of those and I liked that film. And I find most boring-as-hell oscar bait movies to not be worth the celluloid they're shot on.
