This completely crazy lady somehow got elected to the position of Mayor and is somehow "banning" police chases... I don't even know that she legally has that ability. But I do know that she is bat**** crazy.

She speaks like Horton. She's going to be President one day.

LOL... "I got blessed a lot today".

May God bless you all.

At the end he keeps asking her to be professional... Who the hell voted for her?

I'm sure the sheer stupidity of the people who elected her will depress me a little later on, but right now I'm too busy laughing my ass off.

next law..... oat meal, free for all... she looks like she has dentchures

Well I am moving to that town, robbing someone, and running!

Make sure you stay on foot and off the main roads. The car chases haven't been barred yet.

This is something that belongs in an episode of South Park, not in an actual public office.
So sad, yet so hilarious, god bless you internet.

In a nut shell:

Mayor - "I am banning all police foot chases because the officers get hurt and they cost tax payers too much money in insurance."

Reporter - "So if a robber is 10 yards away, the police can't chase him if he runs?"

Mayor - "You are an idiot, that is not what it says. Why are you putting words into my mouth? God bless you x 10."

Even if they come to your door with a warrant , you could still run away apparently.

Something tells me that not ONE single cop in that city is going to follow her instructions.

Is she suggesting that they abandon the police department's insurance to save money?

There is too many variables for this rule to be effective.

So if someone runs and a cop chases after them and catches them, does it violate some kind of rule? I mean, could they argue the cop wasn't supposed to chase them in court? What kind of power does her decree really have?

It's unclear. it would be a mess in court to try and sort this thing out .

I did a little research. Her "decree" is basically nothing more than a request. It can't stand up in court and she has no jurisdiction over the police department. It's literally a crazy woman being crazy.
