That was actually quite sad. I thought it was BS until it got to the end. Kind of powerful in a way.

Here's another creepy short film...

Brilliant.

What I want to know is, why aren't these extremely talented people making feature length horror films instead of the crap pieces of **** that calls itself horror thats been released by Hollywood the last 10 years?

I've heard of this 'salad fingers' thing... Must get around to checking it out?

To me Salad Fingers is like a horrible traffic accident. You know it's just going to be horribly disturbing yet your curiosity prevents you from looking away.

Because most crap horror movies today are making a lot of money back, people keep going to see them and to studios if we keep going to see them, they keep tossing them out.

"SMILE is an impressive 2005 student film by Yuval Markovich and Noam Abta produced at Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design in Jerusalem. Horror films are all too rare in animation, and this short does a solid job of building the tension and creating a mood of paranoia and uncertainty. Technically, it looks like the film was shot in live-action, with over sized CG heads placed on the live bodies. It's a surprisingly effective technique that adds to the film's uneasy mood."

Short and sweet. Didn't freak me out much, but it's disturbing in it's own right.

I feel as though, after watching these videos, some kind of malevolent force peered into my psyche. I am now looking over my shoulder.

Thanks a lot!
