Picked up Blood Simple and No Country for Old Men. Will be my first time seeing No Country since ****ing high school.

Been a while, decided to go in. Helped that they were all at my preferred store, and didn't have to deal with their slow ass shipping. Picked up Heroic Trio duology, Godzilla vs Biollante, and updated the GDT Criterion collection with Pinocchio and Shape of Water.

I got Fassbinder's Berlin Alexanderplatz for an early birthday present. Might try and pick up another miniseries or smaller box set.

Radiance Films also has a B&N sale and Kino Lorber is doing a fire sale if anyone's looking for more obscure stuff.

Next round of Criterion announcements should be hitting by the end of this week. I have to assume this is what he’s talking about, considering how many GDT films they’ve done already and the fact that they’ve already done the old Nightmare Alley around the time his film was dropping.

In terms of Burton canon, either Scissorhands or Ed Wood should probably be first, but in terms of giving a much-needed reminder to folks who have almost certainly forgotten, Big Fish is the one.
