Critics' Reviews: Discussion

And by the way, I've seen the movie. But I realise my opinions matter very little in the...ahem...deadpool of pre-biased negativity on here.

But I will add that - after the film - I mentioned the fanboy complaints on here to the group of people I was with. They've never laughed or rolled their eyes so much.

Have you seen it in the cinema then?

True. I just had a row with some prick on IMDB about it. He was saying every single positive review must be a Fox shill. The guy was completely insane. Talk about paranoid delusions.

But I don't think any one over here is that ****ed up in the head, well I hope not because I'll end up getting banned for abusing them. :D

The thing is, for some people the internet is the only way they believe they have any power. Too much time online is never a good thing. A friend of mine refers to a type he called NoLEFs (no life except the forums), which are basically cyber-junkies.

Having said that, I didn't think the film was perfect by any means but i had to entirely separate my way of thinking from the way people think on here!

Good to see some positive reviews up there, I think this will get a slightly better critic reception than X3.

How would you rate it compared to the others X-M?

Ohhh yea for sure, it's definitely not perfect. As I've said before I would rate it 7/10.

Was there any after credit scenes?

Ahhh I'd be screwing if I got the Stryker ending!! :cmad:

I'm sure the different endings will be online in the next couple of weeks though.

I didn't care about the after-credits bit. Most people had left anyway. I'm more interested in the main body of the film.

Well yea, but I mean who cares about Stryker? Why even give him a after credit scene?

Uh oh. I'm gonna cry. You've....you've broken me. You horrible..horrible person! :csad:

I'm merely pointing out that you are just a one-trick pony, so your responses become predictable and therefore irrelevant.

No idea.

I'm still evaluating where I'd place the film within the X-franchise. It's just 'different' in as much as a new director/style/etc.

I see. Well I look forward to hearing your opinions.

And BTW where bouts did you see this? You're from Blighty right? How did you get early screening?

There were advance screenings for the media across the UK this morning.

Cool. One more question. Was there a Stan Lee cameo? I'm sure I read ages ago that Stan was supposed to shoot a small scene when they did the re-shoots in January.

Stan Lee had nothing to do with wolverine, why would he get a cameo?

I dunno, don't ask me. I'm just going by what I read in some article ages ago. And one of those reviews says there was a surprise cameo that got some laughs and cheers from the audience.

And I've just noticed on RT. The community ratings ain't counted are they? There is already like 160 reviews, obviously of the workprint or people just being pricks who haven't seen it at all.

I never spotted him. His cameos are normally very obvious so I'd have to say 'no'!

I think I'd say it was more like X2 visually, but narratively closer to X3.

You mean about Wolverine? Because I like a lot of things...just not Wolverine. And since this is the only thing thats interesting to discuss....

And I can't say anything else other then it sucks. Atleast not until May 1st. So....
