Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin dead

Watch the news closely, and I guarantee you will soon see crocodiles swimming out to see, hunting for stingrays. The day of reckoning is soon at hand!

Crocodiles are too busy with their alligator arch-enemies, it will be the koalas who get revenge on the stingrays.

RIP Croc dude.
I feel bad because apparently it was for his daughters class. I also think that he should have died by the hands of a crocodile, thats the was I think he would have wanted it

I seriously don't get people who say this. You really think the man wanted his death to be being eaten by a crocodile?

Actually, I think he did. He loved his crocs so much. Everytime he rescued one, he would just be in so much awe of it. Living dinosaurs, he'd call them. Apex predators. He had nothing but absolute respect for crocs, probably would have been honored to be taken out by one.

Just read on the Australian news site that he pulled the barb out of his chest and then passed out. He was barely conscious as they moved him to the boat, but was gone in a few mintues.

And if the family wants, the government's offered to give Steve a state burrial for all he's done for the country.

Kudos to the guy for pulling it out...it must have hurt like hell doing that :(

A freak accident
I said freak attack. Which it is, a pure fluke that the barb hit the only place on whole entire body he would be vunerable to it.

And as sad as this is for his family, at the very least they have many many hours of him being who he was. Way more than the average family has to look back on. More entertaining too.

RIP

Alongside Yoda and Obi-Wan. Where he belongs :(

Animal Planet should do a 24-hour marathon of his shows now. Just out of respect.

Not even supposed to be. I find it ridiculous that the world's news networks are spending so much time on the story of one man's death when they could be spending news time educating people on relevant global issues such as the AIDS epidemic in Africa or the WTO's global extortion racket which leads to millions of poverty and illness related deaths the world round every year.

It's terrible that he's passed away, but North American media ****ing sucks ass.
The man did so much to help animals, and was generally a very nice guy, and never put himself above his work, raising millions to help endangered species, helping out communities, and bringing animal awareness to bazillions. What the hell is wrong with talking about a guy who died and meant so much to so many?

I am so sad right now.

You know I was thinking, his last words erm word were probably crikey. Also isn't this all caught on tape?

It is on tape, and the coroners office and police have it right now. They'll decide later what to do with it once the medical investigation is over.

To think of all the deadly animals he has encountered and he bites the dust to a STING RAY of all things. LAME! LAME LAME! :down:mad:
R.I.P:(

This is sad.

I wonder if he said crikey right before he died.

I wish people would stop saying that. Either way, some people believe he died instantly.

He couldn't have died instantly if he pulled the barb out of his own chest.
