Eff you. This is the first celebrity death that has really made me feel a tinge blue. I mean, how many people in entertainment are as sincere and passionate as Steve Irwin? The dude wore his heart on his sleeve. He seemed to be the genuine article, not some Hollywood phony. He truly cared about wildlife, and somehow in his mind this meant jumping on wild animals to get people fired up enough to care about conservation. It worked on me.

I'd like to think that somewhere Steve Irwin is wrestlin' a dinosaur. I don't know anyone in the wildlife/animal field that wouldn't give their left foot to work on a real live dinosaur, and I figure that's how many would spend the afterlife.
