UPDATE 9/17: Added Police Car Joker in a reply, scroll on down to see it!
---------------------------------------------------------------------

No real Joker figures were used in this custom, mainly because I don't have any. So I pulled together what little scrap parts I could find and came up with this...

I really hope a company like McFarlane gets the license so they can do great scenes from the movie like this. The real clothes ones that cost a billion dollars, and the regular toy versions out there just don't do it for me.

Excuse the dark pics (though it was a dark scene :oldrazz: ). Relatively new camera I took these with, and it really saturated the photos as well, making the coat look blue almost. I tried toning down the saturation in Photoshop but it's still not quite like it is in real life, a good shade of washed purple.

Gonna read up on my camera's manual to fix the brightness, and try to put together a 360° animation of the custom.

:woot:

Dude...that looks fantastic!! Awesome, awesome job. Better than any MM Joker I own.

That looks very good. My one nitpick would be too make his hair longer, but it is brilliant.

Thanks!

Here's the 360° look..

And a couple more photos..

That does look great! Really shows the potential for some NECA or Macfarlanes stuff, as you said.

Thinking about trying another, maybe the scene where he's leaning out of a police car. That would be cool.

Anyways, here's a cinematic beauty shot that I really like...

Thanks for the link, I'll do that :yay:

Put together a little video, with the upside down to right side up camera motion just for fun, and a couple photos....

Thanks,

as I said, I want to do this next...

and it's either I make the car from scratch or find one, but I have no idea what size I should be searching for. Does anyone know what scale car would correspond with 7" figures?

If that fails, I'll probably just try to make as much of the car as you see in that photo, have it going into the side of a box at that angle, with the back shortened considerably for a forced perspective look to save space.

Already...it looks great. Can't wait to see it when it's painted.

Finished painting him, couple more things to do before it's finished...

1:Make the box
2:Print the background
3:Print the police siren

aaaaaaand I'm out of ink so I can't finish it just yet haha.

Here's a mock-up of how the display box/background could look with the custom...

Recipe is a McFarlane Lars (Metallica) torso/arm with a WWF Jakks Kurt Angle head

I created the car in photoshop, then printed it out on glossy photo paper
