Does anyone else hate it when a package goes missing or is stolen?
I ordered DVD's from Ebay last week, My first Ebay order ever.
So yesterday, I was checking my email, because I got an email earlier in the week that let me track it through the USPS. It said my order was delivered on Friday, at 11:00 am.
I was home at 11, and never heard the doorbell ring, or a knock on the door. So where the hell are my DVD's?! Has anyone else had this problem? Could this mean my DVD's are lost or stolen? The tracking site said they were mailed to my town, but didn't list my home address. Could this mean they are waiting in the post office?
This thread is for anyone who has had similar experiences, and to share them.
I'm about ready to kill someone for these things or my money back. This week has been one hell of a week, and this bulls*** hasn't helped my temper. I'm not normally an angry guy, but it's been one thing after another that pisses me off this week.

Check in the post office
I've received a few parcels for myself there, which they couldn't get to me.

Thing is, I just moved, and have no idea where it is. I wonder if I can find it online, because I need to get a passport. I'll kill two birds with one stone.

Ah, not good :/
Try online though, that should help out. How much did the DVD's cost? I've also had completely missing parcels before. Some of the sellers have kindly given me a full refund.

To be honest, post here in the UK has been friggin awful recently. Packages are coming insanely late.

I bought a season of Star Trek Voyager for about $45.
I found the closest post office, but it's Sunday, soo...
I have my first day of classes tomorrow too.
I'll have to call them tomorrow.

another more recent sad story:

back in july i orderd a OCZ power supply from tiger direct.... and guess what....they sent me a ****ing dud.. it worked for like a week then died.... so i had to RMA it to the OCZ tech shop, and they'll send me a new one.. it took a week to get it shipped over to there shop(had to pay 20$ shipping).. and its prob gonna take up to two weeks for them to send me new one... :csad:

if you pay 140.00 bucks for somthing, you expect it to ****ing work! :cmad: :csad:

best power supply on the market my ass ... :o

USPS and UPS are horrible, stay away from anything with a U, P, or S in it.

Check with the seller on Amazon, dude. Tell them what's going on so they can trace it from their end.

Just recently my UPS guy left this big ass package on my door that didn't belong to me. I live on the 3rd floor and this thing was heavy. It was suppose to be delivered to the apartment building next door. I left her a message that it was out front and that she would need to get someone to carry that heavy ****er.

I could've claimed for myself, I wonder how often that happens?

I'd also contact USPS and have them trace it from their side as well.

LOL! Like right when you told me to contact the seller, he replied back.
I sent a message to USPS, but it's Sunday, so I won't get a response till monday.

Nothing could be worse than suddenly discovering your package is missing...;)

My husband ordered a new air compressor and tubing from the states for our van this summer. We got box 2 of 2. Hubby called up UPS and they said the vendor had to report the package as missing. Hubby called up the Vendor, they said it was UPS's responsibility to find the missing package. Hubby had to threaten the vendor with reversing the Credit Card charges (by law you can reverse the charges within 30 days of making the purchase if there is a problem with the goods). He finally got his air compressor, a month later and after his vacation was over. So now he doesn't know when he'll have the time to install it.

it's probably the work of that damn package thief.

I talked to a guy the other day that was cutting the grass (HEY! That's my job!) in front of my house, and he said people like to go around the places that college kids live and take packages from the doorstep, because they believe we're all spoiled rich white kids.:cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

That was just the universe punishing you for owning a van. :oldrazz:

*lol* you may be right jag. I call it "The Tank". Hubby put a lift kit on it to make it higher. The biggest tire size it calls for. Added a deer catcher to the front. Trailer hitch on the back. The bloody thing is just barely able to fit into our garage and can only fit into the 1st floor of underground parking where he works. He is now talking about a new rear bumper with shock absorbers in it.
