Anyway... Hello BadgerPhil! I think your wife watches it for the same reason I do; eye candy.

I was hoping Mark Cuban will be first to be eliminated. He can't dance and he's not pretty too look at (and I can't stand the facial expression he makes while he's dancing ). Poor Josie. I guess people don't care about how good she looks.

My favorites this week: Sabrina and Mark and the car racing dude with his partner. Can't remember her name although I she's my favorite female pro dancer next to Cheryl. Poor Cheryl is stuck with Wayne Newton...

I watched season 2 & 3, but they came back too quick with season 4 and I went stopped due to burnout. Now, I'm off the show completely.

Plus, there are TOO MANY hours of dancing on TV. I've got other shows to watch.

...And it was getting to the point where I only tuned in to see the beautiful dancers

I casually watched this show when Stacy Keibler was a contestant, but that's about it. Definately not something I would remind myself to watch on a consistant basis.

josie got the "ax" lastweek..she wasnt really good,plus she had no fanbase

I can't believe the male model got the boot! That is SOOOOO lame! Stupid voters! I thought Wayne and Cuban should be in the bottom two with Wayne saying "Sayonara!". Ugh!

I watch it. Well I missed this week's because I had to study but I watch it because I'm in love with Cheryl Burke. Plus I dance so its nice to see it on tv.

I have loved Cheryl for as long as I've watched the show! She's awesome. But now, I love Julieanne (sp?) and Sabrina's (Cheetah Girls) partner as well.

The finale is on now. I quite enjoyed the Helio and Julianne 50s theme with twist and shout. But the performance really was not as well as it could have been.

Mel and Maksim are on now, I loved their first dance. Mel is great!

Marie Osmond was good up until tonight, but her freestyle was unwatchably bad and cringe inducing. She should come in third, and Helio should win.

SWEEEET! Exactly the right person one, IMO. Mel B. was good, but I don't think trained dancers should be allowed on the show. Like Emmett Smith, Helio encapsulates the very spirit of the show itself.

We have our own version here, which probably sucks more than yours. And it's so loooooooooooong. My mother watches regularly. I think it's sick to put people to dance their hearts out just to help them with their problems.

With the new season upon us, I thought I'd bump up this thread with some initial thoughts:

Monica had a great attitude, but was a bit of an ox out there. No surprises that she or Penn were voted out. Adam Carrolla is funny, but he's terrible so I think he's the next to go. Shannon Elizabeth also may not make it far, as skinny model-types tend to do poorly voting-wise. Marissa has quite quick feet and decent footwork, but if she doesn't capitalize on that she's out soon as well.

The class of the competition is clearly Kristi Y and Mario (Mario I could stick in a tall frosted glass and drink with a straw!) but with their previous performance experience, is a bit unfair. Jason Taylor is so far emerging as the finest competitor, in keeping with the spirit of the show.

Another 'episode' airs tonight. I think the final 2 will be Kristi and Mario. Jason Taylor makes my knees turn to jelly...
