In entertainment news....news?? Who the hell am I kidding?? In entertainment INFORMATION, among the celebrities set to cha-cha and mambo on the new season of DWTS is none other than Pamela Anderson. My response can be summed up in five words....GET THE STRIPPER POLE READY!!!!

Shannen Doherty is actually doing this season so i have to watch for her. Cant believe she is doing it since she always said how she isnt a fan of being crituqed and has turned them down every season thus far.

Dont know why the hell Nicole from PCD is on there since its obvious she has dance skills, mroe so than other past constants who had some kind of dance experiance.

Kate Gosselin's a cast member this season.

And by that I mean that the very little amount of interest I had in this was just thrown out the window. Call me back when she snaps her ankle like a twig.

I'm looking forward to Evan Lysacek. Man's got a lot to live up to since many past Olympians have won the mirrored ball (Apolo, Kristi, Shawn). I have a feeling he's going to do well.

It seems to be a smaller pool of contestants than last time. Evan is looking like the favorite, though I still think that having gold medal figure skaters competing on the show is a bit of a fix.

Ive avoided this show for as long as I can, but with EA, Ochocinco, and Pam Anderson...I have to watch at least the first episode

It's strange, with the exception of Erin and the other TV host lady who I've never heard of, the other women contestants this season are all train wrecks. The male instructors have their work cut out for them this season!

well the girl from the Pussycat Dolls will probably be decent, but anytime a serious athlete is involved they always do well or win...In 7 seasons of this show, athletes have won 4 times

I wonder how Ochocinco is going to do. NFL players usually do very well on this show, but he's the first one who's had that real brash "new NFL" attitude, so it should be interesting.

I'll gladly take that bet. Not because I think he won't do well (he likely will), but that his name might no longer be "Ochocinco" by the time the season's over.

I'm hoping that Melissa Rycroft becomes a permanent co-host, but right now they plan on using temporary co-hosts.

Of course, this show (as it does every year) will destroy everything in the ratings on the days it airs.

So they want to capitalize on EA's Olympic success. Last season they had two Olympians in swimmer Natalie Coughlin and Snowboarder Louie Vito (who finished 5th in the Halfpipe in Vancouver). Also had Olympic Gymnast Shawn Johnson and Apolo.

I dunno, the women's field looks fairly weak this season.

"Alex, I'll take 'Women who I never want to see up close' for $500."

Between the soap star hunk, an NFLer and an Olympic gold medal figure skater, I think a male celebrity will win this time.

Yeah, this is my reason for really watching the show this year. I think both have a good shot at sticking around for awhile, but definitely Andrews more than Ocho right now. He got his ass chewed out by the one judge Monday night, he was really hurt about it too.

As far as the people I don't want to see on this show, it's Buzz, Amderson, and Gosselin. Especially Gosselin.

That's what pisses me off. It's the dumbass audience that gets all the power. Regardless of how good they perform, anyone can go because the viewers have all the power. Honestly, Shannon was pretty much the only one on the cast that I wanted to see, so.... unless I get word that Kate Gosselin gets comically worse (and she's gonna have to try hard to get worse than she already is), I'm not all that interested.
