Yesterday, Jack had an ordinary life. But he is about to become a very big deal. Watch the trailer for the new film from Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis.

I like Danny Boyle. I like Richard Curtis. But this idea seems more like a short.

And if The Beatles never existed, the entire musical landscape would be different. I doubt we’d have a Coldplay or an Ed Sheeran.

I'm extremely protective of The Beatles....and this should be awful...but I might kinda love it?

I liked the trailer, I like The Beatles, and I like Danny Boyle. So consider me sold. Hoping it's good.

On paper that might not have interested me despite being a Beatles fan, but with Danny Boyle's name attached, I'll probably give it a chance.

Great idea. I really enjoyed the trailer.

This looks like a lot of fun, and Boyle is always great. Will be checking it out for sure.

James is fast becoming Britain's main 'go to' actress, she's effectively Knightly Mark II, and moved Knightly 'on' as it where, to be fair KK has made the conscious decision to do more 'adult / grown up' films, leaving the space open for LJ to take that 'spot'. I can't wait for this though, looks such a 'feel-good' film to see.

Saw this last night. I liked it, but didn't love it. I think more could have been done with the concept and the love story, though portrayed by the actors very well, was fairly cliche. But it's a good time.

Pretty much my thoughts. A little disappointed Ana de Armas got cut from the film as well.

That probably would have helped it imo because for me the love story part brought the movie down a little. It would have helped me see the point of view of Lily James' character better. Certain lines just didn't ring true for me.

Absolutely loved this film, for SO many reasons, it's a beautiful watch :hrt:

I was very disappointed in this. The supporting cast was awful. I can't believe a director like Boyle let those performances slide, especially Kate McKinnon who seemed to be doing a parody when no one else was.

Completely understandable, I've been prepping my lawsuit to WB over Godzilla vs Kong for the past few months for similar reasons. :o
