Dark Angel Is Back!!!!!

OMG Fox just might bring back The short lived series of dark angel starring jessica alba!!!! Heres the scoop

During April of 2006, Fox held a poll on their broadcasting website asking, "Now we've brought back Family Guy for another series, which of these would you like to see resurrected for another series?" Among the choices were Dark Angel, Tru Calling, Angel, Futurama, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
The poll started mid-April, and ended during the beginning of May.
At the conclusion of Fox's poll, Dark Angel ended up winning with 34.5% votes, with Tru Calling at 28.1% behind it. No word as of yet has been announced by Fox whether they will renew the series or not. If it is renewed, however, there is no telling whether or not Jessica Alba would reclaim the role of Max.

reason for firefly:

whedon said he'd never work with fox again after what they did, and i don't blame him. I just got around to watching firefly all of last week, and it was amazing and understandably heartbreaking for whedon to be treated the way he was.

Since they are currently making new episodes of Futurama, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess "People like it better than Firefly."

Yeah, Firefly should really be a WB show. Or better yet, Sci-Fi channel. I'm suprised Sci-Fi didn't pick it up. I hope it does make a comeback though. The show is brilliant...This and Arrested Development just makes me hate FOX all the more. I rarely even watch that channel anymore.

Funny enough, I never cared for Dark Angel but I watched every episode because Alba was in it. I'd much prefer a return of Futurama.

As interesting as it would be, I doubt it would happen. It'd be awkward for Alba and Weatherly, now that they've broken up. Plus they've both got steady careers now, Alba as a film star, and Weatherly on "NCIS", which is a great show.

They were.
And the only way that they would return is if Whedon is in charge.
Whedon refuses to work with Fox, and I'm also guessing he refuses to work with Universal as well.

Plus, he's on CBS's hit show NCIS. He's not going anywhere. Alba's not coming back to TV anytime soon. Futurama will be on Comedy Central in two years. Buffy's season 8 is being done in comic form, and David B. is on a hit Fox show now...(?)

This doesnt mean that Dark Angel is back, and it most likely wont be coming back. Alba has a become a movie star now and she wouldnt even want to go back to television.

And Buffy wasnt cancelled, it ended on its own so its not going to come back ever, and David has said that he has no interest in playing Angel on tv anymore, only if it were a movie.

I don't think they ever actually got married. They were engaged for for-****ing-ever, though, before they split.

For the record, I used to be a "Dark Angel"/Alba of almost JAL proportions, which is why I know this.

Buffy, Angel, and Firefly wouldn't come back...they all have good sized fanbases, but like someone else pointed else Joss doesn't want to go back to FOX after they screwed over Firefly.

Plus, I heard SMG doesn't want to do Buffy anymore and same with DB with Angel.

Futurama was bought by Comedy Central from what I understand and are already getting new eps/movies made with them.

That leaves Tru Calling (which I liked and would like to see more of) and Dark Angel (which I was disappointed to find was really boring and kinda crappy when I finally got to see it).
