As an actor? I don't think so even remotely.

He won a producing actor this past year so he's good.

The question now is...what shenanigans will Shia LaBeouf do around the time this premieres

i think he's a decent-good actor but yeah a "toolshed"

I can't believe 'Shane LeBeef' pulled that crap at that Broadway show. Seriously disruptive especially if he's SMOKING indoors and distracting the people on stage.

I like it.

Pitts hair cut is very very modern.

That hairstyle is called an Undercut and it has been around since the 1920s. Its only recently come back into style especially in the UK. So his hair is accurate to the period and his character.

Everything old is new again.

Yep. A lot of people today wearing this hairstyle prolly dont realize there is a good chance their granfathers and their great-grandfathers wore it too.

Even the Nazi officers wore this haircut. Its been all over the place and worn by many people in the past century.

Oh and wtf is wrong with Shia? He knows he looks like a massive *****enozzel, right?

As actor he has given several award worthy performances. If you can't see that I'm sorry.

Pitt has had a handful of award worthy performances. The guy is a chameleon. He's a character actor trapped in a leading mans body. His performances in 12 Monkeys, Snatch and Assassination of Jesse James are top quality performances all very distinct from one another... all of which are better than anything his Oscar winning pal Clooney has done. I think a lot of people don't actually realise how utterly brilliant his performance in Snatch was. A truly free and believable performance. As someone who has known Irish "pikeys" his performance is unbelievably accurate and real. I don't see any other modern day A-List leading man giving a performance like that.

I look forward to this film.

Agreed with all of this (except I don't know any actual pikeys). He's a better actor than most of the guys in his weight class though no one ever wants to give him credit for it. Kalifornia is another early role he owned that people barely mention.

UNfortunately this isnt getting that stellar of reviews. Not bad, just mediocre-below average. It has time to improve though

Doesnt seem like it's gonna be the Oscar contender many thought it would be. I'll still see it in theaters because Ive been waiting for this for so long

Yeah, I'm definitely checking it out tonight. I need to see Book of Life also.

This film is okay. The first act is excellent, but the second act really drags and the third act is extremely contrived and cheesy. A great cast and solid cinematography bump this 6.5/10 to a 7/10 for me.

My father drove a tank, including one from this era (long story), and he's excited to see this.

Curious...when the tank fires, is there some kind of "sonic boom" effect like a real tank has?
