Comedy David Fincher's The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth Starring Brad Pitt

I always thought he said movies like Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown existed in the same universe, but that the Kill Bill and Grindhouse movies are movies the Pulp Fiction characters would watch.

Or maybe I'm bugging.

Now I actually want this to happen and be his last movie just so it can fail miserably by tryin to MCU his movies. :o

Hasn't Tarantino already gone on record as saying all of his films take place in the same universe anyway? I prefer the subtle references like Red Apple cigarettes being a thing in most of his movies or the hint that Mr. Blonde and Vincent Vega are brothers.

You know how I'd rather see these characters interact? Some developer should make a fighting game based around Tarantino characters. Think of the possibilities.

..or a GTA-like open world game.

Feels like April Fools to me.

Tarantino having anything to do with Netflix is what throws it for me.

Now Sneider’s reporting it too, but he’s gotten a lot wrong.

Don’t play with me, I really hate April Fools! :csad:

Hasn't he had his films on Netflix for awhile? Didn't The Hateful Eight extended version come out on Netflix?

Tarantino has also been very limited on his praise for Fincher. He and Avery disliked Mank a lot. Lawd.

I love QT, and I love Fincher, but I'll be perfectly honest when I say this idea sounds pretty blegh to me.

I think OUATIH is Tarantino's weakest film, and it's only salvaged by DiCaprio's hilarious performance. I found Pitt to be extremely overrated in it, actually. So the prospect of a sequel focused on him is... yeah, not moving me.

His films had been available on Netflix before, but I don't think they ever outright produced/distributed any of his movies. And all of his movies had been given proper theatrical runs. Just seems odd to me that he'd take this to them.

This is clearly fake, but Once Upon a Time… is fantastic so let’s not do that.

If this ends up happening, it could have potential. I don't see the harm in revisiting that character, especially in the hands of a capable director like Fincher.
