DC characters who deserve to have their own films

The Doom Patrol IMO would be an interesting one to make a film adaptation because there's a dark underbelly to it that could be explored because you have Niles Caulder who caused the 'accidents' that gave the Doom Patrol their abilities and also the fact that they're considered freaks in a world populated with metahumans.

-Zatanna: Mistress of Magic.
-Birds of Prey.
-Swamp Thing (a more comic book accurate version).
-Legion of Superheroes.
-Steel (a more comic book accurate/better version).

I said for the longest time the Doom Patrol has potential to be DC's "other" team to the Justice League. Niles Caulder's actions make it a perverse story of the FF with some X-Men elements thrown in. I'd be perfect.

It's also a great opportunity to set up Beast Boy.

I think a first film should focus on Rita, Larry, Cliffe and Niles but they shouldn't reveal he caused their accidents initially. Villain wise it should be The Brotherhood of Evil.

Steel most definitely not the Shaq version which completely sucked

Nightwing and Martian Manhunter. Swamp Thing deserves an amazing reboot (preferably by Guillermo del Toro).

The Question and Hawkgirl at least deserve to play a part in JL films.

The Question, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Booster Gold and Blue Beetle I could see them in a Civil War type movie for DC if they were to ever do something like that with Justice League by them all showing up in one movie like what Marvel did for Civil War

I expect Trinity War would be the most Civil War like film for WB/DC even though it's not a great storyline

Since IMHO Suicide Squad will be a better movie than BvS, I would say a good character for a solo film would be Deathstroke. Separate him from the Arrowverse storyline and make it about his comic book origins in "Deathstroke the Terminator" and watch how he slowly changes.

Besides, Deathstroke was around long before Deadpool, and he deserves a good R-rated serious movie on his badassery, I think.

Metal Men
Doom Patrol
Hawkman/Hawkgirl
The Atom
Martian Manhunter
Doctor Fate
Legion Of Superheroes
Plastic Man
Swamp Thing
Deadman

Kingdom Come.

Which predates Civil War by over a decade.

Superman deserves a sequel and a trilogy. With a different director that can make a movie about a happy and fun Superman. Could they tell the guys at WB that Superman can be modernized without him being broken and sad. I would rather seen what Christopher Nolan would've done with Superman than Snyder, except Snyder is doing what he thinks Nolan would do.
Kingdom Come is a good story line
-Teen Titans or Young Justice
-Nightwing
-Deathstroke
-Doom Patrol

If anything seeing so many DC characters in the DC universe I thought to myself there are so many characters in this universe who have not been on film on the big screen and personally characters who should be:

Green Arrow, Steel, The Question, Booster Gold and Hawkman
A Robin movie directed by Ben Affleck. a prequel about the joker kidnapping Jason Todd and turning him into the currant joker in the DC cinematic universe.

That guy with the hockey mask and the uzi. What was his name, Wild Dog or something? Just because it would really suit the whole murderverse thing Snyder has created.

Teen Titans
Nightwing
Batgirl
Joker
Robin
Catwoman
Booster and Blue
JL Dark
Sandman
Plastic Man
Green Arrow

Congorilla
Metal Men
Plastic Man
Justice Society
Shade
Blue Beetle movie where Ted Kord dies in the beginning of the second movie so the entire second movie is about how Jaime Reyes learns how to be a hero while trying to find out what conspiracy killed his predecessor.
Nightwing
Doctor Fate
Martian Manhunter
GREEN ARROW here is a superhero that is all about how he ****s things up for himself and since we now have a murderverse has actually killed and people accepted it. Not the batclone from Arrow but actual Green Arrow. That is a smart ass and left wing as ****.
Batwoman. So we can have both a female and a lesbian superhero
The Question. Dennis O'Neil one
Steel
Booster Gold
The Atom
Hawkman and Hawkgirl
Wildcat. I want him to have his own movie where he fights crime in the pre war years while he tries to become champion.
Green Lantern. A Good One
Black Canary
Legion of Superheroes
New Gods
Adam Strange
and many more I want everyone. Even silly ones I want to appear in a movie.

I know he's had a movie made already, but I want a new Swamp Thing.

He deserves a *good* movie. The 80s was the wrong time for a character like that to be attempted on film.

I have 2 under utilized characters that need their own film or at least I would like them to appear in any future DC movie :

1. the Spectre DCs chance to bring a horror themed superhero has so much potential.

2. Dr. Fate DCs somewhat answer to Dr. Strange, who could bring an element of magic & mysticism to DC films

Sandman (Wesley Dodds).

Yes to this. He has so much unused potential.

In addition, I'd go with Swamp Thing, Adam Strange, the Question and Doctor Fate. I think they should try and go for more solo genre movies than constantly adapt traditional superheroics (which I think is worn out and something Marvel's been able to avoid).

Icon.

The movie would be as revolutionary as Black Panther.
