DC CW Crossover Ideas: What's Next?

So, I gotta say, despite my gripes with the DC CW shows over the past couple of years, they impressed the s*** out of me with this latest crossover. I thought it was very well done and showed the potential that these shows have. We know that these events are going to happen annually and it looks like they're going to use the "4-hour movie" format for these things from now on. What should be the next crossover? How do they continue to top themselves?

I have a crazy idea: since Justice League has, well you know, happened and let's face it we're not getting a sequel, let's take this as an opportunity to allow the TV shows to do things that maybe the movies were not able to get to. What do I mean? Next crossover, let's dive into APOKOLIPS. Maybe this could be a storyline that starts in Supergirl as an ongoing narrative and then culminates into a huge 4 hour epic event of the heroes vs Darkseid and his forces. We're not gonna see him on the big screen anytime soon so why not? AND, it gives us the chance to use Tyler Loechlin's Superman and get him in on the action.

What do you guys think or what are your ideas?

I wonder of there were a way that everyone would have to deal with an Earth based threat. Three stories in a row about space invaders might get a little redundant.
The Nazis were really just invaders from another world. Added to Supergirl having to save the world from Kryptonians at the end of season one and Daxamites at the
end of seasons two and people that watch Supergirl would especially start feeling alien overload. How about instead they face something like their own Legion of Doom?

Legion of Doom may be off the table if DCFU called dibs.
And the LoD they already gave us in Legends was underwhelming to me, but the potential was there.

Well right now thr DCFU is in purgatory so I feel like everything should be on the table for the Cw-verse to use.

Never mind the CW, sell rights to major DC characters to Netflix or Amazon.

High budget tv series of the trinity make more money than movies with them.

TV is now the better creative and financial medium.

Get out ahead, and embrace the future.

That's a great idea and frees them from comparisons and direct competition.
It would be glorious and will also never happen.

Legion of Doom seems like the obvious choice.

A Civil War type event could work.

Flashpoint should've been an obvious but they wasted that.

They could do a big invasion on Supergirl and have everyone come to her Earth to help out for a change.

Lol that would never happen. You have to get CW to sign off on it which they wouldn't since the majority of their network is made up of DC shows, the budget would be larger than any GOT episode (Currently the largest budget for TV) and DC has their own streaming service

Trinity? Not going to happen, as long as feature motion pictures exist.

I like that idea alot, and think its likely to happen sooner or later. I really think they should introduce Apokolips next season on Supergirl and start a big mega arc with her and her cousin going against Darkseid's forces. Then when the big guy decides to take matters into his own hands, Supergirl calls her friends to help.
