Just wanted to see if anyone else was or still is into Dead Like Me?

Have the season I and II, too bad it didn't stay on, it was a good quirky show

I dig it. I haven't thought of it in a while since it got canceled so long ago, but I did get some friends into it a few months back.

I really enjoyed this show. I have the first season and need the second. Excited about this movie that's supposed to be happening.

I'm a little disappointed that Mandy Patinkin won't be in it, but I'm looking forward to it too.

Movie? I heard nothing

The movie comes out next week, the 17th. Rube is out, Desmond from LOST is in.

Love this show. well, loved.

Whoa, what? The movie comes out next week?

Yeah, craziness. I have been waiting for this movie forever. then there was absolutly no news about it at all, then all of a sudden it comes out next week.

They also recast Daisy for the movie, as Laura Harris was working on Women's Murder Club during the time of filming. Sara Wynter (Who, incidently, worked with Harris on 24, playing sisters.) is playing her for this, and I do not have high hopes. Daisy ended up becoming one of my favorite characters in season 2, so it's a shame for me to see her recast.

Henry Ian Cusick is awesome as Desmond on Lost, but i'm gonna miss Rube a ton.

Ugh, why recast the same character instead of introducing a new character? Although, I do like Sarah Wynter.

Movie? I heard nothing

they have the trailer for the movie at www.deadlikemedvd.com

at the comic con DLM panel they mentioned if the popularity of the movie picks up they might get a second shot at the show. so who knows...

i know i'm picking up the box set for the movie that will include the first two seasons.

would been better if they did more publicity of it, this is the first I heard a movie being out

I agree! i found out 'bout the movie through the new york comic con. if i didn't go, i'd probably not have heard bout it. It does feel like the Dead Like Me movie will be getting the show a bigger fan base and hopefully they get more seasons goin...

i'm starting to see web ads for the Dead Like Me movie release... there ya go, some kind of advertisement...

Dead Like Me: Life After Death is finally released today! Anyone purchasing or renting the dvd?

I'll buy it. I generally tend to rent, but I want to show my support for the series.

I wish I had known they did a direct to dvd... Now I've got to stop after work tomorrow and look for it.

I really want them to bring that back. It wasn't really given a real shot and there wasn't a lot of hype for the show when it was still on the network. Maybe HBO or Showtime will pick it up.

Damn ... no Mandy Patinkin. The way he and Ellen connected was just the best.

I was so please with the movie. I want a part 2.

That'd be cool. I just saw the movie, finally. I kept forgetting to buy it. Good stuff, although it felt a little muddled early on. Was anybody else sort of creeped out by how hot Reggie got?

Yes. That was out of nowhere...

And I really liked the movie. I just marathon the series and then the movie this past week and it was great. It took a little for me to understand what was going on with the movie but after I did, things made a lot more sense and I really hope for the series to come back. Hell, I even have a hilarious idea of how to do it.
