Why the **** aren't you streaming more stuff from David Lynch and John Carpenter? :o

In Lynch's case, because Criterion/Hulu have been snapping up the streaming rights.

Also, to be fair on the Lynch front, Blue Velvet and all of Twin Peaks are currently available.

I don't know whats going on with much of Carpenter's work though.

I've also noticed that Warner Bros. in particular don't want ANY of their movies streaming. Examples:

Heat
The Shawshank Redemption
The Green Mile
The Matrix Trilogy
Man of Steel
Inception
The Dark Knight Trilogy
The Town
I believe all the Harry Potter films

That is because Warner Bros is being greedy and running their own streaming service to milk more money out of their customer base.

NetFlix provided a service that was sorely needed (legal, centralized streaming of movies and television) and succeeded so now every studio thinks they can steal the idea (sound familar?) and turn out their own mediocre clone. They also charge you $9 a month for it I think. Just wait until every studio decides to do this and they all charge you the same $9 a month because their heads are so far up their greedy asses they missed the point of why Netflix succeeded.

I mean, at the end of the day, I'd rather just own my favorite movies - like i do. Something like The Dark Knight... I don't NEED it on Netflix. Everyone freakin' owns that movie.

Man of Steel, Inception, the first two Harry Potter, and Dark Knight Rises stream on Netflix Australia.

Same with Argentina. And I'm pretty sure I've seen at least the first Matrix in there at some point.

I'd be personally fine paying $60/month for a service that included everything, or if Netflix had tiered services.

The reason companies are holding back, I'm guessing, is that they each want to set up their own service. In a few years we'll be expected to be paying $10/month each to 8 or 9 different services.

Each of them will come with a separate username and password.

Matrix: Reloaded was streaming at one point

I want the goddamn second season of Young Justice already.
