Actually they both look good.
Actually they both look good.
THis looks entertaining and set for cult classic status and I'll enjoy it, but Brave one looks like it's got more substance to it.
Really ? to me the trailer for Brave One started out interesting then became Jodie Bronson, not saying this looks like it has any brains either.
I love the little bits it threw me like Terrance Howard having to take down Jodie Foster's Character, or Foster's Character becoming a stranger...
This would be a million times better if it was a Max Payne movie. Same type of story except his whole family are killed. And Kevin Bacon plays Max Payne.
Just saw the film and have to say, imo, it's the greatest rated R horror film to have come out in a long time. And possibly one of the greatest revenge films I've seen. Yeah, it's a "paint by numbers" but the raw emotions and raw fights add ALOT to it. They definitely captured the essence of a family, which makes what happens all the more powerful.
I saw the film with my dad, he thought it was okay. But, the one thing that I noted was that he was somewhat timid about me wandering around outside of college (I go to college away from home) and made a point of me promising him that I was going to take extra precaution to be safe. So, I'm pretty sure the film had an effect on him too.
Overall a great raw, although paint by numbers, revenge flick.
9/10
+ she's hoti think i might end up seeing the brave one instead...
