Action-Adventure Deathstalker reboot from PSYCHO GOREMAN director Steven Kostanski

Rebooting a “franchise” with a 59-year-old lead actor? Sure why not?!

I cannot believe this is a thing that's real, lol! I watched all these a few years ago. I had seen the MST3K episode for the 3rd one many years ago but opted to watch the unedited version of it. The 1st and 4th are fairly boring slogs overall with some fun gore and such, but not a huge fan of all the SA. Deathstalker 3 is the worst one and a huge slog.

But Deathstalker II....might be one of my favorite B movies ever. Great theme, the bad acting is entertaining, and the movie is actually fairly charming. I also love that Deathstalker answering for his crimes against women is a real thing, and I enjoy that one.

Watched the trailer for the new one yesterday, and I am in lol!!! I want more mid to low budget movies like this to be made, so I hope this makes some money

To be fair, Deathstalker in the original movies was played by 3 different guys lol! All wildly different people too. He ranged from the more big, body builder like man in 1 and 4 (played by same guy) to a more slender thief type guy in 2 and 3 (both different dudes). So if they somehow warrant doing anything moew, replacing the lead is kind of on brand

I only saw… part of one of those movies lol. I remember him being a pretty skinny guy.
