An ambitious group of filmmakers from San Diego, CA have banded together to create a film called DELTA ZULU. The film takes place three years in the future after the spread of a deadly virus has infected a large percentage of the world and turned normal people into cannibalistic beings known as the infected. The governments of the world have quarantined the infected into red zones, an area only inhabited by a lost world and the undead who walk among it. White Shield International is a private military contractor whose soldiers travel into the red zones to retrieve important assets for the Government or private parties willing to pay the toll.
In the film, a group of contractors must travel into Lima Alpha, an area previously known as Los Angeles to retrieve a government asset. Accompanied by a curious reporter journalist named Clark Macy, these contractors must take every extreme measure to bring themselves and the reporter home safe while fighting off rogues mercenaries and the bigger threat, zeds!
The film, starring George Katt and directed by Chris Hickey, is set to hit the film festival circuit all throughout 2011 and into 2012.
