Stephen J. Cannell Wants Bruce Willis as Hannibal For the big screen version of the A team with cameo's from the surviving members of the original A team, but who would you cast and what would be the story? Heres my Ideal Cast-

Hannibal- George Clooney

B.A. Baracus- Ving Rhames

Face- Christian Bale

Murdock- Jim Carrey/Owen Wilson

Col. Decker-Sam Elliott

I say they bring back Mr. T for B.A. He has aged fairly well. Here is a recent picture of him from I Pity the Fool (His show on TV land)

Plus I'm just not sure I can see anyone else doing the role properly. I honestly think anyone else would just do a cheap Mr. T impression, so you may as well get the real deal. If Sly can play Rocky and Rambo again and Willis can play McClane again, why can't T play B.A. again?

I'm hoping the A-Team movie gets a really good, reliable director and a big budget. I want this to be a proper film, not some half-assed in-joke.

But the A-team was a half assed joke, i was watching it again a few weeks ago man it was funny as hell

Very true, i met dwight schultz a few weeks ago, really nice guy, i reckon he could still do it. that said so could MR T, i think dirk benedict looks too old though so he'd need replacing as would peppard since he passed away, half new half original A team? oh im confusing myself now.

But yeah i think theres only Carrey who has the look and physical ability to pull of a younger murdock.

I don't know...I think this is one of those shows that should never be adapted into a movie. Those actors from the original show were icons in those roles.... Just like I can never picture another person playing Mulder on X-files or McGuyver

Hank Azaria?? you know thats not bad, i never thought of him before, plus he's affordable. as for the guy out of 'Everyone hates Chris' as B.A. not bad, not bad at all, im just not sure he's muscalar enough and has he got the voice to put that attitude across?

I can picture others in any role, but B.A.. Practically any actor who gets the role would do one of two things. They would either just do a cheap Mr. T impersonation or try so hard to distance the role from Mr. T it is nothing like B.A..
