I think I saw that Blink was supposed to be in this issue of New Mutants so if she is I might pick it up. The rest of it's a good but huge week that might need to be split up a bit. 10 comics and 7 of them are $4. That's frustrating. It's a little odd too if I'm remembering correctly because I think I priced the month of April around $90-$100 for me and nearly half of that is in one week alone.

It's the new price of the book. There's now a back-up feature that will go into the Wayne history and the history of the Court of Owls, and then whatever else they decide to throw in there.

I don't mind DC's $4 price tags because it's the minority price for them and they typically add something to make it a little more worth it. When Marvel charges $4-plus for a title I get frustrated because often it's for nothing more than creative team or the title on the cover. Even when they give you more for the price they've already jaded me to not make me care.

I read an interview a week or so ago and the price thing was asked and the DC guy said that they believe the success of their relaunch was greatly helped by the prices being $2.99 because it helped more people try more books and got them into people's hands. That one man is smarter than all of Marvel's marketing team combined.

7 comics for the price of 8, although in fairness it isn't all Marvel's fault, and BBU offers good value for the $4. It does seem as if Venom comes out all the time this spring, but now that Remender is done with his crossover, things are looking up. Looks like a solid week. I am curious how Jeff Parker will wrap everything up before T-Bolts is hastily remade into a relaunch of DARK AVENGERS.
