Monday's fine by me.

Cool. I may pick it up if my LCS ordered in, or wait for the trade. Not read much of Graham, but I dig his art, and I'm picking up King City trade. It's suppose to be pretty outstanding from what I hear.

It has super powered cats. Super powered cats are cool.

I buy a few indy comics, but I usually subscribe to them online since my local shop doesn't order much indy stuff anyway. So I tend to use the Diamond list more for figuring out what Marvel/DC stuff I'm buying each week. So Monday's good.

AMERICAN VAMPIRE #24 (MR)
FLASH #6
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES ONGOING #7
BULLETPROOF COFFIN DISINTERRED #2 (OF 6) (MR)
CHEW #24 (MR)
ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN #7 WITH DIGITAL CODE
RASL #13 (MR)
SIXTH GUN #19

Finally, Rasl comes out and it's always a good week when Chew comes out! :woot: More people need to buy Chew it's a fun comic with an interesting premise.

Heck yes I do! :woot:

Probably one of the best comics being published right next to Chew.

I don't read either of them. I stick with things most people don't like so Sixth Gun and Chew are probably amazing. Being that I don't read them everyone else should probably give them a shot.

I'm seeing a ton of pulls for Batman: The Dark Knight, and almost none for American Vampire or Bulletproof Coffin? You people are buying the wrong books. :o

American Vampire #23
Bulletproof Coffin: Disinterred #1
The Flash #5
Morning Glories #15
Ultimate Spider-Man #7
Uncanny X-Force #22
Wolverine and the X-Men #6

I feel as though I probably should feel like a scumbag for not buying Chew or Sixth Gun.

I should probably feel even worse for passing up that dollar an issue sale on Sixth Gun a few weeks ago. :o

I got the first 2 arcs in singles, then decided to get the book in trade.

It is an excellent book.

:yay:

If your shop still has any copies, pick up the first 2 issues of Mudman by Image... really fun stuff.

Sometimes it's fun to just have a big dumb book to have fun with. That's what Batman: The Dark Knight is for me. Plus I like Finch's art.

As for the other two...

Take out Sixth Gun and Chew and insert American Vampire and Bulletproof Coffin. I'm sure it still applies.

I love Finch's art too. It actually looks a TON better now, then it did in his New Avengers days. But I'm waiting until that Hurwitz guy starts writing. Then it may actually be well written as well as look pretty.

I did.

I wasn't too impressed by it. It does have a good tone to it, but the plot progression has been really slow in the first two issues, and the main character has barely even been seen in action yet.

If it's great artwork you're looking for all four of those books have amazing artists on them as well. Most notably Shaky Kane on Bulletproof Coffin. He's just got this amazingly fun style and the coloring is freakin' some of the best I've seen.

I agree with CConn...more people need to be sucking up Bulletproof Coffin...and American Vampire...and Chew...and Sixth Gun! :oldrazz:

Yeah... I really like Paul Grist though... so I might have a soft spot... :o

You know what's an ungodly awesome book that I totally wasn't expecting? AND is only $2.99?

Journey into Mystery. I'm not even a Thor fan, but goddamn, is Loki an awesome 12 year old.

Thanks, TMOB.

It is indeed great, but I was expecting it to be. Kid Loki plus Gillen writing? Pretty close to a sure thing in my book. He's actually exceeded my expectations with stuff like Leah, though. It's filling the void She-Hulk and Incredible Hercules left quite well.
