I was curious, too, but he's not actually writing it; it's a spin-off from his latest series, Jennifer Blood. It still sounds kind of interesting, but something to probably wait and see what the word was, for me anyway.

Ah, that would probably be why it's called Garth Ennis' Ninjettes. Gotta throw the name out there as much as possible so people can be fooled into buying it.

Scralet Spider #2 is listed at Marvel as a $2.99 book... so no worries.

I didn't drop it because of the price. I dropped it because I needed to drop stuff in general. I dropped six or seven books and might reneg on one or two of them. Scarlet Spider was already an iffy buy for me and the future solicits don't sound that interesting so I doubt I'll come back to it.

Ill likely reneg on Batman: The Dark Knight for Bane and Scarecrow coming up and MAYBE Venom but we'll see.

I know you're not big on the Venom mini-series going on in February , but the first issue was bloody fantastic.

And Scarlet Spider #1 suprised me at how decent it was... considering that I never liked Kaine...

I bought Scarlet Spider #1 and it didn't really impress me too much. It was alright and if my budget wasn't so maxed I'd likely continue with it but I can't.

Venom I'm still iffy on due to it's over exposure but my wife is going to the comic shop today since I'm stuck at home with vertigo and I told her to pick up 13 and 13.1 so I can try it. Technically, with it being a 5 Wednesday month, I can afford the Venom comics so since I can't be at the shop to skim them I might as well buy them to give it a fair shot.

I'm also giving Defenders one more issue to impress me.
