Then strike #3 from my list. I don't care about a reimagining of the founding X-Men enough to buy their comic without some divine action thrown in the mix.

What makes his book so great?
Colossal Spoons said:Does it rely on the Ghost Rider character or is it the writing. Kinda like how DD sucks but the Cell Block D arc was awesome.![]()

I was reading it up until the last issue, at which point I lost all interest. Daniel Way's doing his best impression of Garth Ennis again, which isn't very good, and all through the story so far I've been wondering, "Where's Mephisto? Where's Zarathos? Where's Blackheart? Where are all of the staples of Ghost Rider that I loved?" Totally absent, that's where, in favor of the typical, boring "zomg teh deevil is baddest!" mentality. It feels like the whole book is playing at being some serious, twisted, Vertigo-esque supernatural horrorfest, but really it's just Ghost Rider doing what Ghost Rider's always done with Lucifer in place of Mephisto, as if that's supposed to garner it credibility somehow.hippy fascist said:Corp you've gotta get on board for ghost rider, the art's awesome. Also while technically it probably isn't the best thing marvel's putting out at the moment it's certainly the book i'm looking forward to most each month.![]()

Darthphere said:No I actually read the first 3 issues, when i came out of the coma, I dropped it.
I agree with all of this but I still read it. To each their own.TheCorpulent1 said:I was reading it up until the last issue, at which point I lost all interest.
