Nice big week.

I actually haven't liked Textera's art much at all. Or, at least, the inking.

Clayton Crain's art was effing perfect for Ghost Rider. Shame it had to be wasted on such mediocre writing. :(

Dark Horse Comics

Escapists #5 (of 6) $2.99
Hellgate London #1 (of 4) $2.99 (This comic was nothing special with the #0 issue that came out last month. But, I'll give it one more try.)

Dc Comics

52 Week #28 $2.50
Birds Of Prey #100 (note Price) $3.99 (I've only been getting this, because issue #100 was coming up. I'm so unimpressed with this title, I'm sure I'll drop it afterwards.)

Green Lantern Corps #6 $2.99 (The best Green Lantern book out there.)
Omega Men #2 (of 6) $2.99
Supergirl #11 $2.99 (I'm sorry, but I have to know the important question: "Can it get any worse?")

Blade #3 $2.99 (Possibly the worst new title Marvel has put out.)
Cable Deadpool #34 $2.99

Then why buy it?

Because I buy everything Marvel puts out...except most trades. I do get all the Essentials, though...and, the occassional trade that collects the real good stuff, like Classic What If?.

Then strike #3 from my list. I don't care about a reimagining of the founding X-Men enough to buy their comic without some divine action thrown in the mix.
Northstar getting struck by lightning?:huh::csad:

Astonishing X-men #18
Civil War 5
Cable vs. Deadpool 34
New Avengers 25

Pretty decent week, if you ask me. Definitely pumped for Civil War and the conclusion to the first Moon Knight arc. Hip hop hooray, crackas!

The Wolverine solicit is the thing that's really gotten my attention these past two months. I've never been much of a fan of the character at all, but with Loeb writing and Bianchi on the art, I can't wait for it.

Astonishing X-men #18 $2.99
Cable Deadpool #34 $2.99
Civil War #5 (of 7) $2.99
New Avengers #25 Cw $2.99
X-men First Class #3 (of 8) $2.99

Astonishing X-men #18 $2.99
Cable Deadpool #34 $2.99 (???)
Civil War #5 (of 7) $2.99
Iron Man #13 Cw $2.99
New Avengers #25 Cw $2.99

I'm pumped for Civil War #5. I'm not sure if I'll read Cable and Deadpool...I had read the Civil War tie-ins, and I liked the style. Can't wait for Astonishing X-Men, or New Avengers.

I'll pick up Iron Man only because its a tie-in.

GHOST RIDER #8
Written by DANIEL WAY
Penciled by JAVIER SALTARES & MARK TEXEIRA
Cover by ARTHUR SUYDAM
“The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Illinois,” Part 1 (of 5)
In a small town northeast of Chicago, people are losing their heads…literally. The sheriff of this sleepy little town firmly believes he’s found the culprit—a scruffy drifter found sleeping in the bushes with blood on his clothes and no believable explanation for where he was and what he was doing when the murders occurred. He even gave the sheriff a fake name: “Johnny Blaze.” But the identity of the true culprit is even more macabre: Lucifer has taken up residence in a new host – a casualty of CIVIL WAR who’s bound to raise eyebrows! And what does this all have to do with CIVIL WAR?
32 PGS./Rated T+ …$2.99
Correction: Sleepy Hollow, IL is northWEST of Chicago, IL! If you go northEAST of Chicago then you are in Lake Michigan! Sleepy Hollow, IL is the next town to the north of the town that I live in, so I would know.

Who writes your solicitations Marvel? Bendis??? Figures. :whatever:

Gambit8370 out.

p.s. Miss me?
