I would agree 100% with this.
Daredevil: Director's Cut turned the film around completely adding at least 30 extra minutes of story, filling in plotholes and making the movie completely better.
Ghost Rider is actually just called the Extended Edition, since Mark Steven Johnson didn't want to call this one "Director's Cut." There are a few scenes added here and there, including a different version of the meeting between Blackheart and Mephisto, and there's a scene involving Blackheart and the Caretaker which explains some more about demons walking on hollowed ground. Overall, it didn't add much to the theatrical cut, but it did add some. Being a huge Ghost Rider fan, I bought this version, but I don't think it's neccessary for everybody, as the DD: DC is.
Elektra, didn't even realise they released a director's cut. The theatrical edition was complete and utter crap though beyond the first 10 minutes, so unless they changed the entire movie, I doubt much was changed.
Punisher, never saw this one, but I did watch the theatrical cut a few days ago, and there were a few scenes that I think could've been improved on -- maybe they were in the DC.
On the Marvel Gateway site I'm making about all the Live Action Marvel properties, each movie page is going to have a "DVD" section, which will cover the "Director's Cuts" and the ".5" editions as well.
...
Superman II: Donner's Cut was quite amazing. Several new scenes and pretty much, a new movie.
