I looked through all of the threads in the marvel films section an didn't see this topic, and if there is one, i must have overlooked it.
I think it would be intresting if they did a marvel knights movie, i mean, they've done movies on many of the characters like daredevil, electra, blade, the punisher, and ghost rider. I know a lot of you probably didn't like many of them, (i thought they were pretty good) but i think if marvel finds the right screenwritter/director, this would be a cool movie. I'd like to see another marvel team movie.

So what are your ideas and opinions if they would make a marvel knights movie?

I think that the subject matter is more suited to a weekly 1hr drama (like a heros crossed with law and order) It would just be too much to have all those characters in one movie.

yeah, but imo if they made this movie, it should just include daredevil, electra, punisher, and ghost rider. if they have sequels, they could add more, i think it could work, its only four characters

I feel the same way. What I was thinking would be the heroes:

My dream list
Daredevil
Punisher
Moon Knight
Cloak & Dagger
Possibly Elektra, Black Widow or Luke Cage as well

Have their own separate storylines and slowly as the season progresses all those storylines coalesce into one big one.

Punisher is out but I'd love to see DD, MK, Shang Chi, Elektra, and Iron Fist in a MK movie. But I still say it would fit better in a tv show.

It would work better as a TV-show. Have a bunch of street-level Marvel heroes who can't sell on their own. It wouldn't be too bad. Plus Marvel Studios could get its feet wet into live-action television.

I think a lot of them would work better alone

IRon Fist for one would be great solo.

Luke Cage would work alone but i think he should have support (Misty, Collen, and maybe Shang Chi in particular).

Then do a Heroes for Hire crossover as a sequel to both

I agree, some characters are ment for solos, but i think if you put dd, electra, punisher, and then either blade or ghost rider, it could work.

I tried my hand at casting the Marvel Knights. I have to say that except for Widow and Cage (which I think I nailed) and Punisher (which I had no hand in) I think this might be my weakest casting. :csad:

Hmm...

Black Knight...

Swordsman...

Union Jack...

It would have to be a hell of a plot, butI could see it ;)

As a TV show, it could be sort of an Anthology... There could be solo episodes, a wide variety of cross-overs... cameos by characters who are no regulars in the main story arcs (even more popular characters coupld pop in).

The only Movie idea that I have seen for a combo / cross-over concept that I really liked was Heros For Hire (Luke Cage and Ironfist).

I will point out, that in my heart and soul...I know that the real Elektra is dead...both in comics, and in the movies...the look alikes in both worlds did nothing but harm the original memory.

I'm cool with a weekly tv series!!! Have a rotating cast for solo stories with occasional crossovers
I'm down with most of the characters you guys mentioned, except maybe Ghost Rider since he has sequel potential.

You know who else id throw in? Gambit. For some reason Ive always seen him as being a good fit with the Nightstalkers...probably because of all the freaky crap that goes on in bayou country.

The series could also bring in a lot of low power and street level villians... I was actually disappointed to see the TV series Heros, which was a totally different cast of superheros, when there are loads of characters out there with deep provactive storylines.

And Marvel based series could have a season based story arc that corsses over through several characters and concludes by drawing them all into a major conflict (like the Deadman's hand series with DareDevil, Punisher, Nomad, Dead Pool, etc... story arc that included KingPin, Hammerhead, Tombstone, and a host of other marvel crime syndicates).

If this becomes a tv series, i hope its NOTHING like heroes. Don't get me wrong, heroes is my favorite show, but all of you had to admit, it was boring (the 2nd season). I hope if this is a tv series, it will be exciting, and action packed, and will show them actually using their powers.

I really see a tv series being part courtroom drama with Matt Murdock (like a Law and order) and part Heroes (with multiple story lines converging in one giant story arc)

I see it all taking place at Street Level and being very gritty.

I also think that it will be very X-files/Supernatural with Doc Strange.

I think that they should downplay the costumes of the characters. Luke Cage doesn't need one...Iron Fist might because of his secret identity. Dr. Strange wouldn't need a costume. DD would. Punisher would. Cloak and Dagger don't (but could)

I see it like much like the recent run on Daredevil by Alex Maleev. More realistic and gritty and "street"

Rage

this is one of the best ideas I've ever heard on this board haha. What I would personally like to see is Daredevil, Moon Knight, Luke Cage and Iron Fist in like the first season. Daredevil i think would be the mainstream draw because I think he has indentifiability with most people. If they kept the cast of heroes kinda small it would leave room for much development of each of em. Moon Knight could be the lynch pin for em, the cord that ties them all together. He could work with or be around Luke and Iron Fist through Jake Lockley (the cab driver) and around Daredevil as Marc Spector or Stephen Grant. And then throughout the series it can show Moon Knight struggling with duel identities and all that. I think it has a lot of potential soooooooooooo Marvel.......i leave the next step up to you!!!!

These are great ideas... the courtroom drama theme with DD and the x-files / mystery theme with Dr. Strange. Strange could be more of a narrator, as though watching via his magic, and tipping the scales remotely or with dazzling appearances when the time calls for it.

It could be a great merger of the street crime motif and the supernatural underworld (vampires, demons, were wolves, etc... in cahoots with crime bosses, thugs, assassins, etc... or even at odds with them... bring in Characters like Whiplash, Constrictor, Tombstone, etc... as hired muscle to face the supernatural baddies in a balance for power on the streets). The cross-over ideas, cameos, and guest appearances are endless.

Yeah, I saw that today. I know the Marvel logo, regardless of how it's placed, does attract attention, as does the DC one.

The problem is that the various super heroes have been licensed to different production companies unless Marvel Films could do one. I could even write a fan script. I write fan fiction as a hobby. You fans if you have fan fiction as a hobby write a Marvel Knights movie. It would have to be non profitable anyways.
