Director's Challenge (Game of Thrones) Thread

Nolan

But I love children of men.

Nolan wins the match up. Next round will continue at a later time.

I post my choice in the previous duel just to show people here what I think.

1. Sorry Ang Lee, you are a genius but I pick Jackson

And then we have

2. I like Cuaron... but Nolan is the guy. Count my vote :)

And I want to say that it is a disgrace that neither Burton, Gilliam or Lurhmann got to the finals (but Zemeckis did = )

Didn't get to vote in time, but the win makes sense to me. Cuaron has made some quality films no doubt, but he doesn't quite have the hefty body of work to match Nolan's. Which is also why an older director will most likely win this tournament.

And yet, he already beat Nolan to that Oscar. :oldrazz:

Anyone complaining about any of them not having an Oscar, must not realize that Scorsese made Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas and Casino and went 0-4. :woot:

I'm going for my boy Denis Villeneuve.

Prisoners and Enemy are great but you guy's should watch Polytechnique. Arguably his best movie to date.

Aronosfsky

Is that writen well?

For The Wrestler mostly.

One of my faves... The scarf man, Mr. Aronofsky

You people wouldn't know talent if it came and kissed you right in the mouth.

See the smile at the end. That's sarcasm.
