There is nothing strange about all these deaths - they happen all the time.

The only reason we're hearing about them now is because after the initial one was reported, everyone all over the place is trying to capitalize on it and the media is going for sensationalism.

This isn't some random report either. Big media sites, blogs , fringe, conspiracy all seem to be on the same page for once on this one.

The reality, say biologists, is that these mass die-offs happen all the time and usually are unrelated.

Federal records show they happen on average every other day somewhere in North America. Usually, we don't notice them and don't try to link them to each other.

"They generally fly under the radar," said ornithologist John Wiens, chief scientist at the California research institution PRBO Conservation Science.

Since the 1970s, the U.S. Geological Survey's National Wildlife Health Center in Wisconsin has tracked mass deaths among birds, fish and other critters, said wildlife disease specialist LeAnn White. At times the sky and the streams just turn deadly. Sometimes it's disease, sometimes pollution. Other times it's just a mystery.

In the past eight months, the USGS has logged 95 mass wildlife die-offs in North America and that's probably a dramatic undercount, White said. The list includes 900 some turkey vultures that seemed to drown and starve in the Florida Keys, 4,300 ducks killed by parasites in Minnesota, 1,500 salamanders done in by a virus in Idaho, 2,000 bats that died of rabies in Texas, and the still mysterious death of 2,750 sea birds in California.

On average, 163 such events are reported to the federal government each year, according to USGS records. And there have been much larger die-offs than the 3,000 blackbirds in Arkansas. Twice in the summer of 1996, more than 100,000 ducks died of botulism in Canada.

"Depending on the species, these things don't even get reported," White said.

The difference Super T is that the report from Comcast is seriously downplaying everything thats happened within the past 30 days because those samples are strictly from within the United States.

Never has it happened in massive numbers simultaneously all over the world along with incoming reports of electromagnetic irregularity due to the northern pole shifting.

While not biblical Armageddon, this has the scent of human mischief with the help of unknown weaponry/devices to the public.

In one of the articles I posted, (can't remember which,) it talks about similar events happening in the last few years. One event actually did involve a 'shower of frogs'.

Facebook also caused 40 miles in polar shifts of the Northern pole causing electromagnetic interference to the point that Tampa, Florida Airport had to shut down all flights and none of their navigation/radar system were working.

Along with reports of disoriented/dying bumblebees (has been happening rapidly over the past 15 years), avians receiving blunt trauma before hitting the ground, and marine life washing up in droves. Yeah this isn't normal and being tossed aside as routine is just being dismissive.

Even if its been happening in the past 30 years and increasing in numbers and instances of simultaneously mass deaths in recent years would warrant being alarmed.

I'd be more worried about those pesky creatures called humans. Who are notorious plotters and liars.

Governments and companies lying and creating fear triggers to gain more control and keep people in the consumerist chain. Why I never!

Magnetic poles are ALWAYS shifting, that's nothing new.

Here's a great explanation:

Runway designations change over time because the magnetic poles slowly drift on the Earth's surface and the magnetic bearing will change. Depending on the airport location and how much drift takes place, it may be necessary over time to change the runway designation. As runways are designated with headings rounded to the nearest 10 degrees, this will affect some runways more than others. For example, if the magnetic heading of a runway is 233 degrees, it would be designated Runway 23. If the magnetic heading changed downwards by 5 degrees to 228, the Runway would still be Runway 23. If on the other hand the original magnetic heading was 226 (Runway 23), and the heading decreased by only 2 degrees to 224, the runway should become Runway 22. Because the drift itself is quite slow, runway designation changes are uncommon, and not welcomed, as they require an accompanying change in aeronautical charts and descriptive documents. When runway designations do change, especially at major airports, it is often changed overnight as taxiway signs need to be changed and the huge numbers at each end of the runway need to be repainted to the new runway designators. In July 2009 for example, London Stansted Airport in the United Kingdom changed its runway designations from 05/23 to 04/22 overnight.

Been this way forever as ALL airports on the planet ... BTW, runways in North America that lie within the Northern Domestic Airspace of Canada are numbered relative to true north because proximity to the magnetic North Pole makes the magnetic declination too large

Does this sort of thing happen often? - No, not really.

Is it some sort of a sign of the oncoming apocalypse - Uh, no.

Of course its always moving but having the northern pole shifting toward Russia 40 miles a year currently and increasing isn't normal.

Movement is normal but not the level of frequency and km/miles in which its been increasing not following a constant is pretty worrisome.

But hey if you don't find it troubling more power to you.
