It was a extremely low budget action comedy flick from 1981 about a British comic book artist who suddenly chooses to become his creation in real life in order to save a female KGB agent whose defecting from her superiors.

I remember this movie, I liked the gadgets, the suit and the car.
It is not a bad pickup for a remake.

There have been so many movies with "guardians" in the title lately (Rise of the Guardians, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, Guardians of the Galaxy), that DC is just biding their time. Don't worry, they'll get to New Guardians eventually, because it's a terrible idea.

Heck, I'd take a Birdman movie over Condorman anyday.

I loved that movie as a kid. It was cheesy and it enjoyed the fact that it was. I wonder how they will approach it though. As an artist becoming his creation, or as a real superhero (the character the artist was working on).

The car chase with the condor-car bursting out of the other car will always be one of my favorite car chases. Great scenery too.
