Display Driver R300 Problem

Has anyone else been experiencing this problem watching videos on YouTube recently? Whenever I try to watch a video there the screen will go black for a few seconds while the audio plays and I get a little bubble popping up in the corner saying "Display driver R300 stopped responding and has successfully recovered." When I watch videos on other sites they play fine. I've looked this up on Google and apparently a lot of other people seem to be experiencing this problem as of late. Is there a solution that'll rectify this? It's very annoying.

Edit: recently redid my computer and no longer am receiving this error on YouTube.
