Divinity: Original Sin II is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One both physically and digitally in August in the Americas and Europe, publisher Bandai Namco and developer Larian Studios announced.

Here is an overview of the game, via Bandai Namco:
Bandai Namco America
Divinity: Original Sin II gives players the freedom of a sandbox RPG, encouraging improvisation and experimentation, with rules made to be bent rather than followed. The game takes place in the world of Rivellon where players can go anywhere, talk to anyone (living, dead, or non-human), and fully interact with the game world like no other RPG. The game features six unique origin characters with full-fledged backstories, personalities, and questlines: Red Prince, a haughty but heroic lizard noble; Sebille, an elven assassin; Lohse, a possessed musician; Ifan ben-Mezd, a mercenary ex-soldier; Beast, a rebel-turned-pirate dwarf; and Fane, an undead member of the long-forgotten Eternal race. Console players diving into the world of Divinity: Original Sin II for the first time will enjoy a user interface tailored for console play in both four-player online co-op and two-player split-screen co-op modes. Additional content updates and extra features will be announced in the weeks and months leading to the game’s launch later this year.

Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition will have a revamped Arena Mode, including a new Hot Seat Mode and new characters, publisher Bandai Namco and developer Larian Studios announced.

Here is an overview of the revamped Arena Mode, via Bandai Namco:

Larian Studios have completely revamped Arena Mode to bring new challenges to its players. The new Arena Mode features solo gameplay, online multiplayer PVP and pass-the-controller Hot Seat mode. Arena Mode also introduces 16 characters to the game including some first-time playable characters such as Malady, Zandalor, and Radeka, each with their own unique set of skills and abilities.
Arena Mode contains two game modes:

    • Classic Deathmatch – Players are pitted against each other until only one remains
    • Kill the King – Each team must protect a VIP from death.
These modes can be played on 13 maps that have been optimised for tactical turn-based combat and includes five brand new arenas. Each map contains three different types chests that can be looted during the fight:

    • A Destruction Coffer that contains destruction scrolls
    • A Control Coffer that contains control scrolls
    • A Source Coffer that contains powerful spells.
The revamped Arena Mode also introduces Mutators, which can give skills or change parameters during Arena battles. For example, during Round 2, the Movement Mutator gives magical wings to all Heroes, allowing them to travel long distances and during Round 7, the Mutators initiates Sudden Death, reducing the health of all Heroes to the minimum levels. Mutators, along with a number of other parameters, can be customized by the host.
Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 31.

The next major entry in the critically acclaimed Divinity game series has been officially announced by Larian Studios at PAX East 2019. Titled Divinity: Fallen Heroes, the new tactical game oozing with RPG elements will be a roughly 30-hour experience that will give you a chance to take a look at the Larian-created universe from a slightly different perspective (also with a friend in a two-player co-op mode).

Divinity: Fallen Heroes is being co-developed by Logic Artists, a small independent studio best known for Expeditions: Viking and Expeditions: Conquistador. Given that the developer has been recently purchased by THQ Nordic, that publisher might also be in charge of distributing the upcoming spin-off.

According to Larian, "Heroes marries rich tactical gameplay with RPG choices and consequences, and introduces a wealth of new features and mechanics to the D:OS 2 engine." Heroes will arrive at some point this year on "multiple platforms." Be sure to take a look at Divinity: Fallen Heroes down below:

Divinity: Fallen Heroes is a new tactical game oozing with RPG elements, developed as a co-production between Larian Studios and Logic Artists. Faced with a new evil, we're calling on YOU to command The Lady Vengeance and continue the story of Divinity: Original Sin 2.
