I know I can. Of course I'd check for a ring first. I'm sure I'll get the chance in a few years when I move to Hollywood/LA or Vancouver.

i might, but i wouldn't really expect anything. what's to stop you? them saying no?

Yes. I wouldn't beg a woman or attempt to change her mind, if she isn't interested in dating me.

Could I ask out a celeb? Hell yeah. Would I get a restrain order/get pointed and laughed at/get kicked in the nuts/get my face covered in mace? I don't doubt it

the trick is not to let her know you're a serial rapist until the third date or so.

I lost my virginity to a guy who had been a child actor

Since you're not famous, unless you're extremely good looking and/or rich, I doubt that will work out so well. But of course, living in LA (or Vancouver ), chances are you'll meet and talk to celebrities all the time.

I think I might. Depends on who it is though. Well, on second thought no. I have no self esteem when it comes to that department. I can barely ask out "regular" people.

I'm such a tattle tale, I can't hold it in. So usually I tell them I'm a rapist after the third second I say "hi" :O

It's not cool to brag about raping Frodo during his 'Forever Young' days.:o ____________________________________________________________

To put a celeb to the test? What for? I probably wouldn't. Most of the celebs who I see people 'drooling over' aren't that attractive imho.

Good luck w/ that superstar.

Well, that's a relief, even though you probably only said it to be politically correct. Why should the 'world's smallest handcuff' stop you? It's the married person's responsibility to say no; if they don't, you've enlightened them w/ a happier way of moving on to a new life. . . or so you can tell yourself.:yay:

I'm a screenwriter...through I don't get paid for it yet. I'm in the process of trying to sell my zombie script, awaiting feedback on a short film script, and will soon plan a new script. All in the process of trying to get a part time job so people won't assume I am some loser who lives with his parents.

I've never asked out a person before...but for some reason I think I could ask out a single celeb. Probably because I know she'll say...

:cmad: hell no, you southern freak.

:o I don't date regular guys.

:wow: it's the wolf man!

:whatever: Yeah, I'll go out with you. NOT!

:yay: ah, look at the pathetic loser.

EDIT-- Vancouver is the second hollywood. Tons of movies and american shows are made there for money reasons (cheaper).

When you say ask out? do you mean follow them, check through their garbage, break in to their house and sniff their undergarments, beat the hell out of every guy that comes close to her and so on so forth.

If I didn't faint from shock first, I could so ask out a celeb. I think I'm going to move to America and ask out Aaron Stanford!

(If i didn't already have an absolutely fantastic girlfriend)

Absolutely. Hell yes. At the end of the day, 'celebrity' is nothing more than a label designed and engineered so that mass media might sell more glossy magazines.

I've had the good fortune to meet a couple of 'celebrities' (both local and international) from time to time (just right place, right time usually) and am always struck by how down to earth and likeable most of them are.

It's not all about looks really. It's about presentation. To think you'd have to be "drop dead gorgeous" to date a celeb is a defeatist attitude which kind of reflects the OP's mindset. It's a dud question. I answered yes anyways because given the chance I could charm a celebrity or at least give it a good ole British try.

Yep, exactly. At the end of the day, going to chat up anyone - celeb or no - with the attitude 'am I good enough for them' is only going to end in tears. You should be asking yourself, 'are they good enough for me?

I generally don't tend to go up to people out of the blue. Perhaps if there was some mutual eye contact beforehand then why not.

celebrity is a very dynamic word that can cover a large variety of people. Taking this into account, I wouldnt mind if there wasn't much chance of papparazzi getting pics the next day, really don't wish to share my business with the rest of the world.

I wouldn't let a woman's looks keep me from asking her out. However, it would be tough with a celeb. They are constantly surrounded by people so I would have to have a real opportunity. I wouldn't want to present myself as some desperate fan.

It looks like the OP needs to read

Read and learn! It works :D

I honestly don't think a celeb would be interested in me.

I remember that kid (not his name though). Were you two about the same age? Did it end on a good note or did it get bad...or are you still seeing him?
