Do you say the letter "r" when speaking?

Yes, a coworker of mine actually *****ed about this because he couldn't understand some woman's accent because apparently she didn't pronounce the "r" in the words she was speaking. :dry: You probably don't notice your own pronunciation of words when you speak, but supposedly I have a combination of the typical flat midwest accent coupled with the Chicago accent, which I don't notice. As stupid as this is, it seems to bug some people. :o
 
I'm pretty sure I pronounce my R's, but I have no idea which option to pick on that poll.
 
I'm ok saying it in a word its just 'r' but when i say it alone i go all pirate and it's Arrrrrr, much to my fiances joy.
 
Does anyone else kinda/sorta say "Arse" when they say the title of this thread aloud?
 
i think it's safer for me to stay out of a discussion about accents and ways to say words haha
 
I...think so? Name some words with R in the middle so I can be sure.
